  1. I needed a kite to fuel my buggy jumping. Intent on buying a Sabre 2 9.5m I began looking around. However a lot of buggy jumpers were recommending the blade IVs as "The ultimate buggy jumping kite". After very little thought i decided to buy an 8.5m Blade IV in midnight, because it cost less which meant i could get it sooner than the Sabre. I picked it up from Write Here! Kite Now! the thursday before Wallop '07, meaning I did not have time to get it out for a fly before we left for Wallop. But as we all do with new kites, I unrolled it on my sitting room floor. Filling almost all the floor space. start where everyone seems to start. The bag - nice design, comfortable to wear and it holds a kite. Is that not all a bag neds to do? The kite. Wow. Top quality as flexifoil always is with no problems at all. I took this chance to inspect the AAA bridle adjustment system, having never seen how it works, and I was amazed at its simplicity. Simply sliding the larks head knot up, or down the bridle fixing over the knots to secure it. The friday night at wallop provided next to no wind but i decided to set up anyway so that i could parapack ready for saturday morning. I couldn't set up and not efven try to fly though could I, so sure enough I did. And it flew! And with a fair bit of pull. It didn't even try and collapse, it just kept its shape almost perfectly through the sky. However, the real test came on the saturday morning, I hooked in to a harness I had been leant and took it for a spin. It was incredible. Predictable power and lots of it. Floaty jumps the likes of which I've only ever experienced on a 12m Frenzy '07. Throughout that day I was strapped into my buggy and afound a secluded spot in the corner of the air field where I was pulling jumps easily with little effort, and when I found I was getting too far down wind I just parked the kite at the edge of the window and trundled off upwind again. Im a flyer who has never been that good at heading upwind, I could do it, but never at a great angle. But the Blade makes it so easy that it's hard to get wrong. What I love about this kite is the variation you can get. Yes, it have a lot of lift but only if you want it. You can just as easily cruise along the ground and top speeds! The AAA bridle adjustment system really changes the way the kite flies. Overall, 10/10 for the Blade IV. It is by far the best kiting purchase I have ever made. By : charlz
  2. I have a radsail proII 4m. And i love it. I wil admit that it is not the best in really low winds, but above these it's the best! Pulls like a train and lifts like a plane!
