My main man Spikee D purchased a Rad Pro 3.0 after the advice of the excellent guys down at skeletoncoast in Colchester. Well I ride a blade III 4.9 as my first kite ever and as you can imagine it's a bit scary at times even for a 34 year old lump of 14 and a half stone (mostly muscle LOL) well we got the Rad out of the bag took about 10 minutes to set it up. D took the handles (well it is his kite so it only seemed fair he had first go) I held the kite to launch it, I'm guessing it was 15-20mph day well as quick as I lifted it off the floor it whipped out of my hands straight up to the zenith in the blink of an eye, in fact I think we uttered something to with #### hell as it hearly took my nose off, D proceeded to give it a spin and I could tell from the grin on his face he was pleased. After 10 minutes I managed to persuade him to part with his new toy so I could tame the beast (well wild cat at least) we swapped over in mid air rather than land. I swept the kite from edge to edge and was immediatley amazed at the speed and agility. I tried a little lower to the power zone only to find I could hold it there without being dragged face forward down the field so I tried it even lower, I found I could play with the whole window without fear although I did have to run a few paces at times. I was in heaven as I was looking for a good fun workout kite to get the muscles going, D layed on the floor approx 15 feet in front of me to take some pix with camera so I swooped the rad over his head several times approx 1-2 feet above without any quarms of hitting him at all. Overall I would say if you are looking for a fun kite without the urge of jumps etc and want something good value I would serioulsy consider adding this to your bag. I love it equally to my Blade III mainly for the smile it leaves on your face and speed it flies across the window. I would equally consider another Rad if money doesn't stretch to Flexi prices.
