  1. nnice one Lofty... hope the leg is healed up well - just in time to give your rookie a thorough thrash!
  2. good review, I agree about the lines! my 8.5m is now a sweet kite, they fly miles better with either a bridle mod, or even just power-rings! also, on newer Blazes, the brake bridle has been re-done, the lines are now pres-stretched, and the handles are much improved. in short, get one! Put power rings on it, and you are away!

local kids jaws have been heard to hit pavement as I carve down the road to my house.... feel so much healthier skating to the shops for a packet of fags now! also finally found a use for the kheo wristguards I have had laying about for ages.... would reccomend the kisiwa then?

its your fault... now own an MBS Atom, and the wife thinks Im having a mid life crisis - but sod it, its great fun!
  8. excellent review from a knowledgable bloke! good to hear the launching is getting easier - other than that, these kites are the best IMHO....
  9. argh! Xmas is coming... think I NEED a 4.9m BIV, or maybe a 6.5m.... damn!
  10. superb. Invaluable guide to the mucky world of mountainboards!
  11. fair comment I reckon.... my 8.5m will never replace a Blade of similar size, BUT its an excellent landboard engine. Power rings and/or bridle mod needed, the brakes on mine were non-existant when i got it... with tinkering, this is an excellent kite for a silly price!
  12. Ive got one of these too! It has served well as an intro board, but now Im finding that the speed wobble, and all round heavyness is becoming an issue... swing weight is the term, I believe.... would agree with the review: this is a relatively bomb proof, forgiving board to learn on. My next board WILL be kite-specific - this is a downhill board 1st and foremost.
