  1. Ok cheers will give lancing Facebook a go, not too sure about meeting people on the lessons thought it was more a one or two people to a instructor than a group thing Only really waiting till the new year as I have too much work on atm Have a land board and a few kites to practice on land so shouldn't be to bad a transition to water but still want the lessons, also the mate I was going to be doing it with is a beginner too
  2. Whey a gay joke in Brighton good one fellar.....
  3. hi all Collected a few kites over the last couple of years with the intention of getting some lessons to start but have been waiting for a mate to do it with me but he always has something else on so looking for someone else Want to start in the New Year I'm 25 from Brighton, have transport if your abit further away doesn't really matter to me Let me know if you fancy it need a beginner to learn with and go out with after so I'm not out on my own Cheers tony
  4. got my transporter today!! cars going to auction monday what little drive i had in the transporter feels amazing, had to park it up no tax :-(, best thing if you decide to buy a transporter make it your own
  5. if your interested i do downhill mtb'ing so big bikes, selling my vw golf mk5 2006 silver 2.0l diesel sport with removable tow bar and also have to go with it a twinny load quattro bike rack which is the best you can buy they rrp at £499 hold 4 bikes. only selling it for a van looking for £4600
  6. bit expensive for a beginner tho 2009 one on ebay for £350 but didnt really want to spend that much was thinking 250
  7. not slating just asking! not aware of how much use the kite has seen but looking at the kite it is in very good condition everyone who has seen the kite has remarked on how good the condition is for the age of the kite i merely asked as it has gone in the identical places on both sides
  8. have just looked over the description of the kite when i brought it and does say has had a fair amount of use but the kite is still in excellent condition still crispy but if you look at the kite it has gone in identical place which is why i am asking as the rips and place on either side of the kite are identical mirror image also mick at sore kites looked over the kite and there was NO visual problems with the kite he said he checked it over and even unrolled it again it front of me and went over it again he is not at fault on that would recommend him to anyone the repair is spot on.
  9. no the annoying part about it is a brought it about a month ago and used it twice really first time out was fine then took it out again got it all set up then got to the bar and it went bang and third time out was using it for about 2 hours brought it down then about 2 minutes later whilst having a chat went again
  10. think mick might be right on this one found another link that says nothing about the pro and says that they use cuben fiber in that too look under the section saying "highest quality materials" Waroo 2007 - Wiki this would explain alot too as i cant see how it has gone in exactly the same spot on either side looks like you could put a mirror in the center and the kite is in good condition and i had the kite checked over last repair (last week) so shouldnt have been a problem thanks tony
  11. oh thought it was too coincidental for it to have this problem twice in a row i have only had this kite out 3 times!! ill see if i can fix it and think i might be selling it then if the repair goes well thanks tony
  12. hi does anyone know of any common problems with 2007 best waroo kites because mines gone on the same spot on both sides of the leading edge both tears look exactly the same in the same spot on either side, looks like its gone from where the depower lines attach first one in on each side has anyone else had this problem on their kites ?? going to try repair the bladder and stitch myself on this one as i dont think the kites worth the money ill have to spend for someone else to do it again thanks tony

yeah that sounds a gonner to me too just depends how much you like the kite really but in cost wise probably best of ditching it

depends how much use the kite has had really whether its worth being repaired but not saying will cost the same but to give you an idea mine cost £70 to repair the bladder and kite, if you can repair the bladder then may worth fixing but if gone through the seam on the bladder then thats when its a problem and probably wouldnt be worth it

check out my post i had the leading edge blow out the other day and mick from sore kites fixed mine bladder too, repaired it very quick and cheaply well worth checking him out, theres are a couple of pictures on the post everyone said was unrepairable but he done it sorekites.com
  16. he has repaired the bladder and kite would recommend him to anyone well impressed cheers tony
  17. have taken the kite to him thanks for the recommendation, is having a go at repairing the bladder but may not be possible will have to wait and see how it goes but is worth a go thanks tony
  18. ok well was going to lancing tomorrow i know theres a place out the which isnt too far from me looking into it as i have found a leading bladder for £50 which isnt that bad so hopefully be able to get it fixed for under £100 theres a couple of photos on the link below dont know if the bladder is repairable or not Pictures by sadler89 - Photobucket thanks tony
  19. ok then thanks for the replys will probably take it to my local and see what they say can probably get abit more than £20 for it, someone who is looking for spares as the strut bladders are £20 each (well thats what im hoping anyway) just abit gutted that only flown it once this was the second time i have taken it out! thanks tony
  20. The bladder has burst and ripped the kite about 12" or so, I take it must had a small tear in as brother said he was holding it and heard it tear then saw a bubble come out and went bang, I brought the kite for £120 so may be best selling it and letting someone else do the work and buying another Thanks tony
  21. hi all took kite out today and leading edge blew out just really want to know how much this sort of repair cost is it worth getting it done as brought the kite about 2 weeks ago on ebay for 120 thanks tony
  22. yeah thats what i was about to buy was a 13m kite bar+lines harness board and pump on ebay ended for 235 post but didnt email me back with more information about the what bar it came with and the board looked abit cheap so didnt go higher than 225 probably should of done really but abit late now also would rather either a 12 or a 13 i think would give me more of a range as i already have a 9 thanks tony
