Thanks for the advice, I live in medway Kent so ekp & camper are about an hours drive either way, been using capstone which is not ideal due to surrounding trees causing turbulence so new location is much needed. I attended ekp on the comp day a few weeks back and felt very welcomed by all so am looking forward to joining the club. Thanks for the offer & may come down to find u one day now im finding my progress has come to a halt.

Thanx guys the bar is flexifoil 26" assume its the original brought with kite, it was gusty at a guess 10 - 15 mph maybe more.
The conversion kit i have read about they say make the kite turn quicker on a bar but can't remember the name but will look into it, im going to join and book some lesson at Essex kite park in the next few weeks to get some advice before i do anymore.
Thanx again peeps.

Hi all just purchased myself a flexifoil blade III 6.6 with a bar and had my first trip out with it today for a brief fly, I have have moved onto this kite from a Hq beamer 3 and am amazed at the power the blade produces and am tempted to put it on handles as im still quite new to power kiting (8 months) and miss the quicker turning speed and instant breaking if power becomes a bit much. My intention is to use with my scrub landboard but after todays session feel i need more time to get to know the kite due to being dragged and lifted for most of it. I always fly with a helmet and am getting pads before i go again, would i be best getting conversion kit for the blade and keep it on the bar or go back to handles as i was on the beamer until i have more experience?
What is a good starting point to set the brake lines as today i had them set at longest point to (minimal breaks) ?
Also where do i get the conversion kit from as i have only read posts about it on here?
Thanx in advance.

Thanx for reply im very new to this, would kite be more responsive with main lines adjusted further apart on bar? I only have Hq beamer 3M as im learning would this bar work ok with the kite?
I've got this bar that im yet to use, i brought it second hand and this is how it arrived.
Is it me or are the lines all wrong brake line from bar ends with kite killer attached and main lines to adjustable center straps, never seen like this before so thought id ask.
Thanks in advance
Matt
Thanks for the offer, i may pm you at some point, what i know which is very little has come from YouTube clips & tutorial dvds so would be good to see other techniques which is why i am considering lessons.

Thank you all for the advice ill stick with the handles for now until i get more flying time.
Im also looking at finding better location as capstone is my local but am finding winds are very turbulent due to surrounding woodlands, where in Kent is best for learning? Don't mind parks or coast.
Thanks again

Thanks for quick reply, i have only been out on 3 occasions so am in very early stages, what are the pros & cons on handles and bars, when i have more experience i do want to try jumping & so on which i would imagine can be difficult on handles.
