i think ive decided i want a monk! now alll i need to do is start playing the lottery or hope one in my size comes up second hand! there are a lot of nice boards out there are the mo!

hi all, looking at getting a new board but unsure on the size that would suit me best. im 6"3 and about 85 kg just starting to get into jumps and mainly just freeriding but enjoy doing a bit of everything. been looking at nobile and shinn boards about 137 would that size be ok or should i go smaller say around the 134 size. im still on my begginer board 145x42 and ride mainly at hayling cheers for any info. Ben

xcelerator thrill 2008 used 138 x 40 perfect for beginner has got wear marks down the heelside edge it has got a few repairs as shown in the pics it was like this when i brought it and they are quite well done nice and smooth etc probably a profesional job ive not used it that much as i normally use my other board. apart for the repairs it a good board, fins and straps are all good. awesome graphics too! make a decent second board. £120 ono my computer wont let me upload pics so ask an ill email them. cheers

hi all my deflate valve decided it didnt want to play today and detatched its-self from the kite! shall i buy the valve and do it my self or drop it in to my local shop and get them to do it. how difficult/reliable would it be for me to do!? cheers ben

hey all, im thinking of getting a thicker wetsuit for getting out when the water is a little cooler. would a 5/3 be ok or should i go thicker? what do you use? cheers Ben

at hayling this weekend its the national windsurfing championships so there will be a lot of people about in the water, conditions are looking best for sat afternoon/ evening and sun morning and afternoon (best when the tide is out). if you google cbk hayling island and hka (hayling kitesurf association) you will find info on where you can do it etc. enjoy! might see you there! hi all i have a slow leak in my ion 2. i was using it yesterday pumped it up as normal used it for about hour and half ish, then came in, when i landed the chap who caught it said it was feeling a little low which it was. and it was making a difference on the water. ( i thought it was me getting tierd!) how can i find where its coming from? anybody had a problem like this before? where do i start? any ideas thanks Ben

my friend used these a while ago they worked well but the ratchet strap when tightened left small marks/scratches in the paint where it went round the edge of the roof into the car. just something to watch out for. ben
