  1. no ones been in touch yet. its a very big coastline so it really could be anywhere. its not gonna stop me getting wet and it might help me learn some new tricks and kite loops as i have a 7m which i rarely use unless it is 30 knots but now ill have to use it when my 12m is too much. i do love small kites! : )
  2. Afterwork Wednesday night perfect kite surf session ends in KITEMARE!!!! I had no choice but to release my lease on my kite at Ainsdale this evening and watch it go out to see. The wind was cross shore 20-30knots and the tide was going out. I over shot my lines at and got wrapped up in them and had boots on too which i couldn't get off quickly so I had to let my kite go. Its probably ended up in Blackpool or Lytham. Im from Manchester. I have notified the coast guard and the beach ranger life guards. Its Ozone bar and lines & Ozone C4 9m, black, yellow and red. A massive thank you to Dale who tried to catch the kite and bring it back but was unsuccessful. Ive been kiting for a few years and I'm kiting better than ever and this fuckin happens but at least I'm fine and ready to kite this weekend. If anyone finds it (which is unlikely i know) please contact me many thanks Dan
  3. this video has really inspired me mate! Love how much speed you ride with!!! now all we need is some god damn wind!!!
  4. no more weather forecast modelling according to the website. Thats a shame although it was hardly working for the last few months!
  5. thanks for all your tips guys. I had a good play with the screws and fins and managed to get it in somehow! I don't think it will ever come out but what the hell!
  6. Are your Ronix boots still available?
  7. Got a new board and been riding it finless. Just tried to put the fins on and one of the holes of the heelside eadge is a couple of mm too short so you cannot screw the fin on. Its a new naish dub board. Can i drill the existing hole on the board so the screw will go in etc? Never done anything like this before. I think it must have been an manufacture process error. I know i can keep riding it finless but im also thinking about sale ability of the board too.
  8. wow sounds amazing! I would really like to go and take the mrs. She doesn't kite but loves to sun bath and read. What is the temperature like this time of the year? Is the wind less reliable this time of the year or is it pretty consistent throughout? Merry Christmas you jammy sod!
  9. This is very worrying. How long does it take for the water to become safe after a sewage spill has occurred? I usually kite at St Annes, Ainsdale or Llandudno WS. The interactive map on Sewage Alert Service Interactive Map | Surfers Against Sewage does not show any recent spills at St Annes but there obviously has from all the previous comments. The map does show lots and lots of sewage spells in various places around our coast.
  10. Anyone interested at £150 Ono? Great board for the money! Really is hardly used! Please PM me for some pics! Thanks for looking

  12. It was a great session today! I got in the water at 3pm and come off till 6pm! I hope the guy on the green 8m bandit is ok. He tried to help me and relaunch my kite after it crashed and he got his leg tangled in my lines and when the my kite went up in the air he went with it upside down! It was a very scary moment and i hope hes OK! Thanks for helping me out dood and i hope your leg is ok. He did carry on kiting for a bit afterwards but it looked like he almost lost his leg! will def be coming back to this spot again soon! Love the flat water. Looking forward to my new board (naish dub) which i can ride finless because it gets very shallow quickly when the tide is going out.
  13. sounds like a good idea. Is that at Ainsdale or lytham?
  14. Forecast looks good and i have got the afternoon of work. Is anyone going to be at either Ainsdale or Lytham St Anne's tomorrow? Planning to get there around 2pm and catch the tide on the way out! Hopefully some flat water and very few people if any in the water!
  15. Naish apex bindings ordered! Lets prey for some wind this wknd!
  16. what size is your board?
  17. CABRINHA HYDRA H2 FOOT STRAPS 2014 look very good too. I wonder if they will fit the crazy fly raptor pro ltd?
  18. Jimmy 6 - ive got a pair of the 6.5mm hot atans boots but ive just ordered a pair of 3mm ones and this should help. Dragon fly - the Naish Apex bindings look really good. Would a pair of these bindings or the cabrinha ones fit my crazyfly board? This could well be a much better option than getting a new board. The 2014 bull dozer looks awsome and comes with much better bindings which give you a more looked in feeling. just aint got a spare monkey knocking around.
  19. is this spot Llanfairfechan? Do you need a NNE to kite here because of the Great Orme?
  20. Im going to keep progressing with the raptor pro without boots i think and try getting my straps a bit tighter on my feet to get that hooked in feeling more. I just don't feel that secure on the board with wetsuit boots on and my feet seem to move around alot and it really doesn't help when your properly lit and looking to boost or pop. I do love the board just not the straps when i have wetsuit boots on.
  21. I am looking for the locked in feeling and getting increasingly frustrated by slipping out of my board so im thinking of getting some Ronix boots and giving it a go to progress with freestyle/wakestyle tricks. Ive spotted some Ronix boots but I wondered if they would be ok on my Raptor Pro LTD or will i need to get a new board? Does any one else find the straps on the Raptor Pro LTD dont give you that solid feeling and your feet can move around too much? Maybe its the straps. I was chatting to guy yesterday who was riding Ronix boots with a cabrinha board so ive had a look and the calibre and custom are designed with boots in mind. i think the rocker on the custom will make it better for boots and the H2 straps look really good too!
  22. top advice guys thank you! Gonna get some dope pads!
  23. I know its not kiteboarding but alot of you snowboard. I have had a few lessons and im going for a week to Bulgaria in February. After my lessons I was black and blue on my arse so Im keen to get some protection. Can you suggest some good bum padds and also wrist guards and knee pads. There tons on the market. Demon look good but though see if anyone had personal recommendations etc. thanks Dan
  24. Hi Andy, Thats good info thank you. Would this beach work well in a South Easterley? Would Lligwy or Red Wharf Bay be better in a South Easterley? Im just looking at the forecast for Saturday! cheers Dan
