  1. Have a 138.41cm Laluz 2012 myself and think its the muts nuts! Hands down best board I have ridden and around my local at least 10percent of riders seem to agree having also got them. I would say thats a perfect size for a beginner of your weight. Any bigger and its gonna be hard to handle when you improve and any smaller and it would be hard to get up on as a beginner. Also the laluz has a great low weight nd flex pattern which would make it very lady friendly. BTW I am not affiliated with xenon and paid full retail for mine. Just really stocked on this boards preformance I thought I'd share the my views.
  2. Yea the evo def doesn't like to go past 18kts or so before it becomes a downwind tow truck! But love it for unhooked moves in the mid to low teens. not really looking for anther delta tow truck though. Looking for more of a freestyle oriented c feeling kite that will give great pop and slack and good boost. How would it comare to a 12m C4 or also a 12m Torch or Vegas or 13m Fuel?
  3. Hi folks, Looking at the blade prime 13m for a new kite to replace an ageing 2009 12m Havoc. Love the havoc but now I'm progressing into unhooking old school stuff as well and the havoc just doesn't have the pop on the unhook side or the boost on the old school side to keep me happy. Have heard great things about the prime and have been considering c kites also like torch or vegas but don't really fancy a 5liner. Question is is there much difference between the 2011 and 2012? Also what would the likely low end be for the 13m for a 90kg rider on a 136 42 Xenon Laluz? Talking realitic trowing down low end not mowing the lawn low end. I have a 14m evo that I use for the 12-18 kt range so would need the prime to cover the 16-24kt range. Would the 13m evo fit the bill? How does the low and compare to other C hybrid kites and c-kites.?
  4. Cool thanks guys for the advice. Happy that I will be able to use my north bar as imo it is the best bar out there and best safety release. Also have heard a few bad things about the 2011 torch. Any one have experience with this?
  5. Hi folks, Looking for advise from anyone who has experience flying naish torches on a north 5th element bar. Have a quiver of evos that I fly on north 5th element bars. Fly on 5 line as I often kite alone and require the absolute safety of a 5th line. Looking to get back into c kites again after many years away and have found a good deal on a 2011 Naish torch 12m. Will it be ok to fly this on a north bar? I know that the setup is similar with the high y frontline split but are there any trimming or preformance issues? Also have read of problems with the 2011 torch being a bit unstable in comparasion to previous years. Any torch flyers comment on this? Appreciate any advise.
