Are you using the 12 on a 54cm bar or 48 - big difference to responsiveness.

I have taught in the alvor lagoon for 2 years now. 12 is more than enough - if we get wind its usually strong in the afternoon (9m/12m) otherwise no wind at all and therefore 14 usless. G

I worked in Dahab for 7 months as a Kite Instructor.....defo need smaller than a 12....probably a 7 or maybe a 9 with plenty of depower. Wind is always offshore and picks up in the afternoon. G
