Evening all Just to keep you all up to date STILL NO SIGN OF KITE, STILL NO REPLY TO ANY FORM OF COMMUNICATION from BLADEiv . POLICE INFORMED, Am finding out more info on him all the time. Some thought he may be dead - nope active on his FACEBOOK. BEEN ACTIVE ON THIS FORUM - he has been on here and actually deleted his orig posting of the 12m Frenzy for sale. In an attempt to hide his tracks - why else would you delete ??? Luckily i've been informed all posts are backed up even if deleted. Some great responses from all thanks for the support - i'm pleased this, although sometimes off on a tangent, has stimulated discussion and woken a few people up to the risks involved. Its a great forum. Lets keep it that way. i'm sure in the main full of completley honest people. Iknow some previous posts (now deleted) may have been a bit close to the mark but we should be able to name and shame in the real world and not hide. All info posted was info actually found in the public domain in different forms. All in the main found through searching on the net. Nothing truly private. Even if info was found that allowed access to accounts and was truely private a fraudster being caught themselves ..... well....... Fully appreciate "the forum" needs to take care on posts from a legal point of view. (I've apologised to the Geoff - now where he's coming from ) My money is in his account / from the moment he saw the money no more communication / he's alive i know / his computer is working / he's able to delete posts/ he's able to post on facebook / he's able to go to work / But he can't post MY KITE / he cant rfund my money / he can't tell why not sent / why a delay / why he's deleted his advert / It all tells me only one thing I said this before - in his orig posting he needed money as hard up. he offered to cover the cost of posting the kite - i sent email offering to pay for postage if it was a problem. If he was that hard up even offered to just send back my money and keep £20 of it. Is that not fair Calmly patiently fairly tried to get a response - no reply I would love to be able to post on here its arrived but sadly dont think that it will. If it does it will be be from the pressure from here or a polite or is that POLICE call Hope all of you dont get caught. If you do it might just change your opinion of a few things - until it happens to you...... sincerley hope it dosnt

Ok the deal went like this : bladeiv Matt (surname - big iron black thing found on pirate ships fill with gunpowder and shot begins with C A _ _ _ N -been asked to remove surname !!!!!!!!! post for sale ozone frenzy £130/ £150 . A few replys for details / pictures agreed to buy for £140. Received email saying he would get account details the next day. 12pm following day recived details to pay into Barclays. He requested conf email when money sent. Money sent that evening emailed to confirm and sent delivery address Funds cleared in account next day. 5 days later recd email to say sorry bad weather not been able to post (prob delay to make sure funds could not be recalled ) Then nothing no reply to about 20 emails thats over two weeks ago. Found him on face book clicked to add as friend numerous times just ignored. Emailed my mobile asking to text or ring. Emailed saying if that hard up would send funds to cover postage (he agreed to cover postage ) then emailed to say return the money less £20 if that hard up. Given every chance to contact So not mouthing off without giving him a FAIR chance BEWARE AS WILL PROB DO AGAIN - if it turns up i will be the first to sing his praises

Just to set the record straight i'm not mouthing off without giving him a chance . been emailing giving him every opportunity to reply and sort it out. Even told to return the money and if that desp for cash keep back £20 The thread started as a warning to all with possible bit of verble pressure for the guy to get in touch. Somebody might have known him and a few local gentle words could have sorted.

True not convicted in the true eyes of the uk law a figure of speech. I'll be the first to post in big letters if the kite turns up. Shall we re write to say looks like he's ripped me off beware. The main reason was to remind all the law abiding members to be aware of the risks. It looks like i've been had. If he gets away with this he will prob do it again. Hope not you who gets caught. As regards bank a/c details we all pass around our bank details every day they are not private. Each time we fill out a direct debit or issue a cheque the whole world knows your details. My opinions by no means reflect the opinions of kite crowd. But by judging by the response with the two pages of replies in 24hrs. all those who replied seem to have the same opinion - he shouldnt get away with it.
