  1. Old Hunny works at any tide, can get a bit choppy if it's really windy. Always worth the trip though.
  2. digital marketing as defined by Google: digital marketing In simplistic terms, digital marketing is the promotion of products or brands via one or more forms of electronic media. Are you running this event, or taking part in it to help with your current challenges
  3. still on ebay with a bar for not lot, apparently these fly like north vegas.
  4. still on ebay for not a lot, ending tomorrow
  5. now on ebay complete with bar - currently 99p with no reserve Kitesurf 11m JN Prima Donna kite good condition with bar RTF - no reserve! | eBay
  6. now on ebay for 99p with no reserve - grab a bargain North Evo 9m Kite only - no reserve | eBay
  7. 15m JN Prima Donna 2 kite only £140 This is a big friendly kite! I've been using it as my light wind kite, but just don't need it any more after buying a quiver of ozone edges. Last time I was flying this kite there was one other guy out on a 15m Naish Air which is a light wind specific kite. I was able to hold as much ground as he was which was really surprising. It's a 5 line kite, and very very stable - so stable I couldn't comment on the relaunch as I don't think I've ever crashed it! All the other prima donna's I've had have simple relauch, this one will be the same. I can provide a JN switchcraft 2 bar for either £60 or £80. the bar converts between 4 and 5 lines and extends in size between about 45cm and 55cm. Unfortunately there is some damage to the kite, it's had a pro repair on one of the wing tips, and a couple of pro repairs on the leading edge. Other than that condition of the fabric is excellent, it's as crinkly as my 2012 kites, and there is no other wear. thanks for looking
  8. 2010 11m JN Prima Donna Kite only £180. This is a five line kite and superb for an intermediate rider. They're marketed as freestyle and wave kites, I used it for freeride and it was a lot of fun. The depower's pretty similar to most other bow kites I've ridden. The big difference is the steering and power is very direct, like comparing a rollercoaster to a pirate ship, pull the bar in and there's loads of power, let it out and it's gone. The kite's in very good condition with a single pinhole in the canopy that I patched from the inside. If necessary I can provide a JN Switchcraft 2 bar for either £60 or £80. There's a review of the kite here, it says it's for the Prima Donna 2, it's not it's for the 3. Kiteworld Mag - JN Prima Donna 2 11m (2009) Thanks for looking
  9. 2008 North Evo 9m Kite only with bag £120. The kite's got a few patches, hence the price. It flies on a four or five line bar, I've been flying it on 5 lines. This is a perfect kite for a beginner, especially to complement a larger kite for the odd occasion you turn up at the beach and there's more wind than you were expecting. If required I could provide a JN Switchcraft 2 bars at £60 or £80, they convert between 4 and 5 line and the bar extends between about 45cm and 55cm - so can fly any kite pretty much. Thanks for looking
  10. just brought an 11, been looking for one for ages, it's ace Seen one or two since then on facebook - kitebay group I think. pretty sure an 11 was £425 complete. cheers Chris
  11. Hello Ady, She was using a waist harness. I've got an ozone race bar too, which has about 3 miles of depower, whereas the standard bar has about 6 inches! so I'll take a closer look at that and see if it's a better fit. Even with all of that though, the size of the chicken loop and attachment combined with the spreader is probably where the best gain would be made. We were at branny yesterday at low tide, it was supposed to be raining and still....it was sunny and windy enough and lagooney, she was riding 10-20m at a time on the 11m edge again and then I was riding it powered with a door, incredible kite! and we had the bay to ourselves too! The only downside was relaunch, not that it wouldn't....just a bit too much of snatch for a small body in a 6 inches of water, but once the kite was flying, it was perfectly behaved
  12. Was teaching board starts to a lightweight with an 11m edge, then went for a blast myself... Could never have done both of those things in the same conditions on an 11m prima Donna (c kite) The power delivery on every ozone I've ever flown is just so smooth and progressive....and they remain predictable when overpowered. Perhaps docile's the wrong word...
  13. Thanks for that - it's interesting. She's nearly 15, and board starting. I know exactly what you mean about trying to keep up with a body dragging child who's purposefully bouncing across the surface of the water! The first time it happened to me I thought the kite was out of control and was yelling "release", only for her to stop after 100m or so, stand up and turn round with a grin big enough to be mistaken for the entrance to the channel tunnel Her kite skills are fine, I like ozone kites because they're so docile until you actually fly them purposefully. So I'm thinking an 8m cat will cover up to about 20 knots, much above which it's going to be too windy for a novice generally. I also have JN kites, and the switchcraft bar allows you to adjust the throw at the expense of depower. I suppose with a bit of thought and education around trading bar travel with the amount of depower needing to be locked on via the cleat, that'd probably work better. Hmmm, think I've answered my own question... cheers Chris
  14. Hello, Was out at old hunny on Saturday afternoon teaching my daughter to board start. there wasn't a lot of wind, so she was using an 2012 11m edge. I was intending to get her a catalyst so we could share bars, however now I've seen her flying the edge, she struggles to let the bar out very far without having to bend a long way. I'd say in a good stance she could maybe allow the bar out 6 inches or so. Any ideas on how to deal with this? I'm not aware the bar is really adjustable. cheers Chris
  15. never had a C4, but wouldn't say no currently got 15m Primadonna, 13 and 11 edge, 11 prima donna and an old 9m evo. Selling the 11m primadonna and looking for a 8m ozone cat for my daughter and high winds for me Look here for C4's, it's a good idea of what's about and value/condition: 9m : Ozone C4 9m 2011 Kitesurfing Kite | eBay 12m: Ozone C4 12m 2012 Kitesurfing Kite | eBay I'd expect with the 16m torch, something like those two you could cover everything.... lots of 2008+ bandit's about too. I'm in Norfolk from next weekend till septemberish cheers Chris
