Hi, my gear is gathering dust so it's time to admit I'm no longer a kite boarder (if I ever was ;-0). So, for offer I have: RTF Peter Lynn Venom II - 13m Great condition. No rips, tears or repairs, zips working and spars all accounted for. Comes with bag, lines and Navigator bar - I think it's the '07 bar but that might have to be confirmed. Asking £230 inc. postage or £220 collected. MBS Core 90 - Fat Face edition Well used but all in decent condition. New Matrix trucks (cost £60) not long before I stopped boarding. Some grass/mud ground in to deck tape but otherwise, clean and tidy looking board. Looking at £80 posted or cheaper collected. Peter Lynn Buggy Got no idea of the model, but it's only a basic one. It's at the back of the garage doing nothing, not amazing condition but not bad either. I won't post it, but if you can collect, make an offer (money only - I've had to many Mars bars already). Pictures available by email, can't spend the time posting them from work (will try to get them in the thread later). Any collection is from Bournemouth. Will sell as a bundle with some discount. Any questions etc, PM me. Thanks. -
Yes, finally took some yesterday, PM your email address and I'll send them to you.

Weekend bump. Really is a nice kite and repair/trim strap set up make no difference at all.

Hi, selling my 10m Manta II with bar, lines and bag as the wind-range is too close to my Venom and it's not getting any use. Kite is in very good condition, but it has had a professional repair. I believe it needed a cell fixing inside (no visible signs on outside) but don't know exactly what the problem was as I bought it from the kite shop that repaired it. The shop is well regarded for repairs and I trust it has been done well (the proof is in the flying and there's no problem on that front). The shop put brand new lines and trim rope on the original bar when they sold it to me. I'd say these have about three or four hours on them max. I'll point out that the trim rope is a custom job though, and does not hook round in a loop. I can take a pic of this to show what I mean. It doesn't affect operation and the depower is as easy to trim as it would be with the original parts. Just being as honest as possible about what is different about the kite. None of this has any bearing on the fact that it's all in great condition and the kite flies perfectly. So if you want a nice, floaty mid-range jumping engine, it's yours for £350 including postage. PM me if interested. Should have pictures available soon. Cheers

May have a look at the weekend. Could pop over to watch the birds at loacal marshland whilst I'm down that way too

Dunno about the fusion Spooky, looks bulky (and expensive) to me. Think I'm going to have to try a few harnesses on as advised, which means going local so I doubt the nitrous shorts will be such a good price. I'll have to see what they have in stock... Thanks for the replies
-
The aviator is a good harness, though I've got nothing to compare it with as it's the only harness i've ever had. It's about three years old now and is just getting tatty. The, um, 'undercarriage' is just starting to split but that's because I'll generally do a sitting down hot launch in higher winds and get dragged on my arse for a few metres. Not pretty I imagine it has another summer left in it and I'll be perfectly happy to keep using it if i don't get the shorts or another new one. So yeah, you've got yourself a pretty decent harness, especially as they are low-end price wise.

Has anyone tried the Dakine Nitrous Shorts Harness for landboarding? Are they pretty much the same feel as an average seat harness? I can't see how they'd be that much different but any first hand experience would be useful before I take the plunge. I'm considering a pair as they seem to be going pretty cheap at the moment and my Aviator has just about had it. Any advice appreciated, thanks
