Craig, did you get it on prescription? I'm still curious as to wetsuit over\under issue. If you have it custom fitted to go over the wetsuit, surely it wont fit when it's against your skin? You can't really wear the brace for rugby anyway as laws say nothing hard, although I use aircasts on my ankles with rigid splinted parts. Referees dont seem to notice them but a bit of stiff carbon round my knee might be a bit tougher to get away with.

I will be needing a brace in next few months. Question is, do you cut the leg off a full wetsuit, or just wear short legged wetsuits? Can't work out how you can get a 5mm suit over the knee braces I've seen. And those of you who got a decent brace on prescription, was it a hard slog or do you just ask consultant\surgeon for it?

That's alright for taking on holiday and I'm sure they're very handy for all sorts of things but not so good for lugging through the sand dunes when you want to strap your board and pump on your back. Was looking for something a bit more like a traditional kite back pack with all the trimmings.

OK, so the zip on your kite bag gets coroded with salt water and siezes then breaks through trying to force it. What do others use as replacement for the kite bags that come from new? Doesn't seem to be much about, although all my kite bags have worn out faster than the kites. Do people rinse their bags regularly?

Yeah maybe. Grab it while you can though. New baby and usual kite buddy buggered off to surf in Cornwall for 2 weeks.
