I may be leaving the kiting game, since I can not seem to find much time for it anymore with work, gym, mrs and other hobbies so I am progressively going to sell my gear. Anyway I have for sale an Access MK1 6m Depower on a bar, originally purchased from Shrimpo on the forum and I have not had much use out of it to be honest, maybe flown two/three times since purchase. Thanks for the advice peeps, so presumably if you wanted to release from this lock, you just pull the lock through the chicken loop? (reverse to the install). I don't mind paying for anything like this, but I did want it before xmas.

Sorry I'm not familiar with some of the terminology that you guys are using, but I was advised by Shrimpo that the velcro idea was good, but I didn't know Ozone actually makes one!!! that looks ideal! I have this harness! NEW SCRUB POWER KITE SEAT HARNESS SIZE L on eBay (end time 25-Dec-09 11:27:23 GMT) Do you think it will fit? looks like it's universal & are they actually any good/do their job correctly? Yeah it's an access mk1, so I guess it's a de-power loop? EDIT: After research I get the term 'donkey dick' lol it is that chicken loop lock, very nice.

After being out of the powerkiting scene, i'm back in the game again and I want to upgrade my chicken loop spreader bar for something more secure. I use a 6m Access (one of the earlier models) and the chicken loop I have now is no good because it doesn't keep the kite attached when the wind drops. Can anyone recommend a good spreader bar, bearing in mind I am still a novice. I have seen the arminator and whilst it looks easy to use I have heard it's dangerous.
