Dude, what youre trying to do is attatch a bit of line to the depower line ring, feed it through the bar with a loop at the end of it to attatch your safty leach to right? Now when you release your chicken loop saftey, that line will be under tention bringing the ring attatchment of the depower line to the bar and get jammed there, leaving power in your kite and you in the sh*t! Try conecting it to the trim strap below the bar instead! Failing that, try a new bar with a below the bar safty connection...

Some fools have put great big white metal frames with nets attached to them in the park where i usually kite (Aylesbury)! :eek: About 16 of the bloody thing have poped up oved the past few weeks, with strange white lines painted onto the grass. These unidentified objects seriously get in the way when trying to kiteboard and i fear there is nowhere for me to kite now! Got the landboard setup as a sweetner for living so far from the coast and only getting to use my kitesurf gear about 5 times a year if that! Please, if there is anyone in the buckinghamshire or oxfordshire area with a good location they are willing to share i would be most greatfull. Thanks!

Hey Baz. Taking the misses to Kuredu next April. Would have thought the lessons there will be recognised! Once youre up and going maybe pay for a 1 to 1 lesson to get your level 3 with either a bksa or iko school if youre worried about it. To tell the truth as long as youre shown how to do things safely and get some insurance after your lessons youll be fine! Hope you have a magic time!
