  12. i bought a mk1 9.5 a few weeks ago for £150 + £15 postage, so i got a bargain there, so someone else could too!
  13. Cant really say im into any sort of anal delights
  14. Without a saddle ill end up with a pole up my arse! Quite interested in trying one of those unicycles that dont even have a frame, just a wheel with cranks and pwdals, look interestingly challenging!
  15. And in saying that i started off with a 5m radsails pro2, flew that a few months and went straight onto arcs.
  16. Now now carl, domt break these newbies into a bad state where thyre no longer able to fly now do we? Although i think half the time if you really wanna gey into landboarding the real fast and easy way, just buy an arc and fly it underpowered to get going then go big!
  17. I can bunny hop and ive just started to learn to ride backwards and try to idle. My girlfriend bought me mine for my birthday last december, its a reflex branded one, costs around 40 quid and come in a range of neon colours, ive got lime green its ace! thing i learnt to do today is bunny hop a full rotation - pretty cool!!
  18. It is true you really should just train your brain and body on flying the kite properly getting to know the facts etc isnt harmless its helpful. Go fly with someone of greater experience than yourself, and seeings as you only really have the 6m exit kite, just go out in low winds. . As for the meaning of fixed bridle, that is the type of foil kite that you have, read up and you'll know why its called that. After you have progressed and are truly happy with what you achieve, then you can go back to the first post i made on this thread and take a look at harnesses and other control gear.
  19. he 6m Exit will get you going into learning the basics of landboarding with a kite. Go and buy any harness that you feel you can fly and ride comfortably with, the Mystic harness range are pretty damn good but come at a price. The most reputable are probably Dakine harnesses and have something to suit everyone, or for extra comfort, move-ability etc... then I'd go for the Ozone Access harness with Spreader bar at £78 if your on a budget Ozone Access XC Land Snow Kite Harness Landboarding Frenzy FX Manta Seat Harness Kite Kiteboarding Kitesurfing Traction Power Kiting Power Kite Shop Spreader Bar Quick Release Powerkiteshop Power Kiting Power Kite Shop UK Equipment Powerkiteshop As for having a control bar, you don't have to have one, you can just fit a strop to the handles of your kite, and then that hooks into the spreader bar. Otherwise for control bars really depends on your budget, just get one suited to four line fixed bridle kites, control bar prices range from £50+.... 21. I started landboarding nearly 5 years ago, our first powerkite was a 5m radsails pro2. It was great for having a laugh with just static flying down the local meadows as we had previously learnt to kite using a 2m shite powerkite from homebargains. Now when i first got on the board, kite up, no harness or strop, i honestly did not know wtf i was doing, just powered up and went straight down wind, dont do this, its hairy when you dont know what to do. But anyway.... as soon as you figure out static flying happy enough, make sure you understand what the wind window is. With that knowledge you can then work out which way can go and where the kite will be at its strongest. Then just take it step by step or roll by roll, and you'll soon be cruising up and in all directions. and the peter lynn hornet btw, mainly used for buggying and racing but it'll do ya alright for basic traction. Try getting cash together and get a 5m, you'll benefit far better
