  1. Hi Christian, kite looks good mate but im afraid that due to postage costs it makes it too expensive, had i been living closer that wouldn't have been a bad price Regards Tony.
  2. hi christian Whats your price for the 8m Speed

  6. Yesterday I thought I would visit my local beach and try out my recently accquired second kite a 3m Riot, I guessed the wind to be about 15-20mph probably about the maximum I should be going out in but I've not had a chance to try it since buying it and figured I would be ok. On arrival the wind seemed quite strong and gusty, might aswell have ago im here now and dont know when my next chance might be. Made sure I kept the kite low and took it to the side of window, still quite a large scudd doing that I turn the kite and take it up and across the window in comes a gust, big scudd and fast then a hole in the wind causes kite to collapse and fall, I quickly step backwards to try and prevent it tangling in comes another gust kite now inflates and shoots straight up into power zone very fast scudd and im now airborne land quite hard but on my feet and in comes another gust I lean back and straight into a massive scudd on with the brakes and bring the kite down I pack it away and take a look at the marks in the sand theres a scud of about 12 feet then a gap of about 20-ish and then a scudd around 30 feet. My son who's still laughing says I would have easily jumped our car so I was quite high aswell. I now remember I have also just bought a wind meter on using this I find average wind speed to be 18mph gusting to 32mph. So no matter how eager you are if your not sure of the wind strength leave it in the bag and if you own a wind meter use it first!!
  7. Sorry to hear that you're hurt hope you mend quickly:)
  8. on bigger kites it does help with performance as it helps to stop water sticking or drawing into the stitching. this helps with the weight of a big foil. when it comes to a big race kite you want it as light as possible so if you can keep the damp out then it all helps. feel a kite that has had salt water on it. you can dry it as much as you like but as soon as theres any moister in the air the kite will feel damp. so does seal'n'glide help with performance..........yes i think it does. I fly at the beach all the time and that is exactly how my kite feels so i totally agree with active 8 and i will be trying some seal n glide in the new year.

  14. Ebay is a gamble Especially when there is no reserve and a low starting price, I have lost out this way several times now. After reading this I feel bad for buying it, like I've done something wrong. Especially Badgers statement!
  15. DAMN ANNOYING!! I've had two listings removed due to what they call spamming, its B*****KS! Good luck with the relist.
