  1. www.vimeo.com/62684334 Flysurfer & Flyboards International teamrider Dylan van der Meij headed over to Brazil to prepare and train for the upcoming PKRA & KTE 2013 competition season, Dylan wanted to escape the cold Dutch winter, to train and try to maintain and improve his riding level throughout the winter. All we can say is that it seemed to pay off, Dylan's full power and smooth riding style on these beautiful Brazilian lagoons makes it look so easy:-) Rider: Dylan van der Meij, sponsored by Flysurfer / Flyboards Gear: Flysurfer Speed3 12m DLX & Speed4 10m DLX, Flyboards Radical 4 M - 134cm Shot & Edit: Nick de Bruijn - Lifely
  2. https://vimeo.com/46699931 With most of the PKRA riders switching to boots this year, Dylan van der Meij wondered if boots would make a difference for him. Would it really help him with hard landings and give him the extra pop he needs? Last weekend the conditions seemed just right for Dylan to try out his new Flyboards Radical M with boots and a 12m2 Speed3. Check out Dylan trowing down some awesome freestyle moves with heaps of style, showing that foils not only excel in oldschool but also in freestyle.
  3. Thanks for all the kind responses! I use 16/32 gig CF card from Sandisk. The Canon dslr's eat memory!
  4. After a knarly virus infected both my computer and primary back up I was scared i lost this footage I shot last summer! Luckily I copied all the footage to a secondary backup! We set out the make a 4 minute movie, unfortunately because of the bad weather conditions and a small injury from Yusca I decided to just cut it halve! Sometimes you have these days that every trick you try works out! This was one of those days! Fully lit on a 19m2 Speed 3 Yusca pulled some sweet oldschool Jumps on a kite spot in Almere (Holland). Shot on Canon 7D with Canon 24-105 & 70-200 (the lazy man kit:-) with Zacuto and Manfrotto gear! The (epic) track from Basement Jaxx is called Scars ! NickdeBruijn.info Flysurfer.com
  5. http://www.vimeo.com/15636895 Check out Flysurfer & MBS team rider Jelmer van der Kist trowing down some real Freestyle! He is one of the few guys in the landboard scene really focused on doing handel passes! Lanboarding in offshore winds isn't easy, doing a frontmobe while the wind changes between 8 and 25 knots every 10 min is even harder, but somehow Jelmer managed to do them during the German Kite Landboard Tour! 8. http://vimeo.com/13571478 In preparation for the Seat Kitesurf Tour Europe on Sylt, the North team disided to do a road trip to Denmark for some last minuet training. Joining them, video / photographer Nick de Bruijn to document their journey. With the wind blowing from the North-West the team traveled all along the West coast visiting spots like: Rømø, Hvide Sande and several sport near Krik/Vestervig and Oddesund. Denmark turned out to be perfect for a week of training. A different spot every 5 minutes, waves, flat watter, lagoons and enough place everywhere to set up your kites! Enjoy the epic freestyle action from Mario Rodwald, Stefan Spiessberger and Tom Schüller! "Mario Rodwald" : After the last party with all my friends from school (and some cool teachers) I finally dropped out of my well-ordered life and went for a trip to Denmark. Tom Schüller and Stefan Spiessberger came with me to rock the beautiful country up north. In the last seven days we had more then enough wind to check some new flat water spots all around the coast. We also got some big waves and up to 40 knots in Hvide Sande. Nick de Bruijn came with us to record some moving pictures of our roadtrip. So check my blog next week to see the movie and receive the latest news from the Seat Kitesurf Tour Europe on Sylt! "Stefan Spiessberger" : Finally, after hard studying the last years, I passed my last exams in school! Yeah, I did it! Right after it, I started an awesome roadtrip to Denmark, discovering some of the best flatwaterspots together with Mario Rodwald and Tom Schüller. Nick de Bruijn, a photographer from Holland, attended us the whole week. We've been shooting for a nice video quite a lot! Should be ready within the next days! 9. I just sped a month in Thailand together with Flysurfer team rider Sebastian Bubmann! Had blast shooting this video! Think this really proofs that you can ride freestyle with a foil! After 3 weeks of competitions in Hua Hin Flysurfer teamrider Sebastian Bubmann was joined by video-/photographer Nick De Bruijn from Holland. The two did a great trip from Hua Hin to Phuket and back. Flysurfer importer Sacha De Ridder showed them around some of the most beautiful places on his catamaran during their stay in Phuket. One highlight for sure was the island where “The Beach” has been filmed… Due to the lack of wind on the west coast the two drove back to Hua Hin after a week and mainly filmed around there. In contrast to the rather choppey conditions in Hua Hin one spot really was the ultimate place for freestyle – Pran Buri! Located just a few kilometers further south there’s really nice pools with flat water in between the sandbanks and two huge peers with flat water behind them. After almost 4 weeks of traveling around the two filmed countless GBs of footage all shot on the Canon 7D. The pictures look really nice with great sharpness and contrast – but see for yourself and enjoy the film!
  10. Thank you for all the kind responses! This will be the first of many new vids!
  11. Flysurfer teamriders Yusca Balogh, Peter Muller, Lennart van Schuilenburg & videographer Nick de Bruijn travelled to one of the worlds best snowkiting spots: Col du Lautaret in the French Alps in January 2010. Packed with bags full of video- & photogear, ( mainly Canon 7D ) some snowboards and a dozen of Psycho4 and Speed3 kites they were ready to prepare for the upcoming SnowKiteMasters '10 World Championships and get their snowkiting skills a level higher. This is a video impression of these 2 weeks. Let us surprise you. We are sure you will enjoy the footage! Music: MGMT - Time to Pretend Ladytron - Beauty Deadmau5 - Ghost 'n Stuff
  12. I'm laying here in a hotel in Siwss with lennart reading these posts. With all respect, please show us how its done properly..... on the land!!! theire is no way you can pull a front mobe with your kite low on the land. you cannont create enough pop for this trick. This is as close as we can come on the beach so yes it is a fron mobe untill somebody can pull it off wit his kite parked 10cm obove the ground! Thanks for the reactions! the outlaw rocks on the snow. Tomorrow we will test it on 3000m +++ for a photo shoot sya! Nick de Bruijn
  13. Yeah i know, my cam didn't really liked the collars of the Outlaw 10. The collars just whet trough the roaf. In reall live i prevere the 8m2 in terms of collar. The new coppar red is just sweet ass(A)
  14. Today me and flysurfer international team rider Lennart van Schuilenburg (AKA the Dutch Demon) did a photo shoot at the lovely beach of Wijk aan zee. Altough wind was pritty crappy, the sun was shining, and we had some new stuff to try out. We had the hole range of Outlaw (sweet ass!) and the Pro-90 (yeah yaeh old stuff for you guys but we were pritty happy!). I don't know if I'm right but i think we have a first. Did anyone else ever land a Front mobe on the Landboard? Well here are some pics, tommorow we will do another shoot at my home spot. I will try to upload some pics bevore i leave to Swiss:D http://www.neonick.nl/Flyboarden01.jpg http://www.neonick.nl/Flyboarden02.jpg http://www.neonick.nl/Flyboarden03.jpg http://www.neonick.nl/Flyboarden04.jpg Cheers, Nick en Lennart
  15. Thanks for your reaction, i'm the photographer. I was planning to make a Web site for over a year now but 60 hours a week for school and work was already more than i could handle. Now that i have vacation i will definatly work something up! I love Englisch kiters, they know how to appriciate Kite landboarding. Here back in the netherlands it seems no one really likes it, and unless you show up with some Kitesurf pictures its no good to them.
