  1. I think I've probably sorted the kayak, a mate has one with attachable fins. He's the kayak expert, I'm the kite flyer (can't call myself an expert )
  2. I suppose using a canoe would hold the line much easier, certainly if I'm not planning on modifying a kayak. Let me know how it goes.
  3. Yeh we were gonna use a simple play-boat, use the edges to keep some of the boat submerged giving us something to force into. Stearing wouldn't be too difficult, it just wouldn't turn as well as a buggy or a board (except when we switch the kite and get some power slides ).
  4. Hey guys, I want to combine my love for kiting and kayaking. To do this, I would prefer to use a 4-line traction kite but don't want to lose by beloved Blade to the depths of a lake. I was wondering if anyone knew of a leading edge kite (or one that won't sink) I could adapt to allow for use of handles instead of a bar. Let me know what you think and if you've any suggestions for this crazy idea. Ric
