I kited in Dahab last year, fairly decent outback in a place called Kamikaze, but the lagon is pretty useless and the whole place is geared around windsurfing. They've got rules against kitesurfing before 6pm in the main areas and the wind usually dies of in the evenings... Bottom line - Sack Dahab, others all sound good, I'm off to Fuerteventura 1st week in June - contemplating taking my board but using their kites... Enjoy!

Hey everyone, I'm heading over to Sheffield for the weekend, normally kite at Llandudno / Ainsdale, looking for somewhere on the East coast as near to Sheffield as possible plus some people to kite with if anyones about? Cheers!

I hit up both days.. Torn which one was best!! Today was awesome .. having pretty much written it off when the wind dropped to Fleetwood is an awesome venue .. everyone was mega friendly .. having the shop on the beach is cool, demo boards out today as well. Only thing that annooys me is the shi**y A road that links to the M55! 1st weekend kiting this year .. What a start. Fingers crossed for wind for next weekend!

Treking up to Feetwood to try and catch the North Easterly this weekend. Can you kite there at high tide .. forecast for 0950 GMT. Anyone else on board?

Is Lytham still an option for Easterlies? Fleetwoods a bit of a Trek for me! Looks like it could be an Easterly again this weekend.. Need 25 Knotts + to try out my new Ion 2!

Whats the water temp like at Ainsdale?? Currently only packing a 3mm Shorty... I'm starting Early shifts next week .. Afternoons free for kiting, is anyone likely to be down in the afternoons if there's wind? Cheers guys!

Cheers guys. I ride at Ainsdale / Blackpool / Anglesey.. Wouldn't mind trying out a Waroo or the new North Rhino, are there any kite demonstrarion days planned for any time soon?

1st of all a confession, I have been a fair weather kiter and not touched my gear since September last year.. I am however itching to get out kiting again, thing is I feel a bit out of the loop on the kite front. Last thing I remember was Bow kites rated as not as good as C kites.. Has this now changed?! Essentially looking to change one of my old kites (05 Matrix 16.5m / 03 10m Flexi Storm) for an 07 model. No idea what model to start looking at. End of last season I was trying handlepasses.. Frontloops etc.. I'm about 90KGs.. Might be looking for a new board as well! Thanks in advance for any advice!
