Just read through this thread.. firstly.... Top bloke Steve.. fecking nice to have someone willing to get involved in a helpful way when you feel your too far away from the problem to do anything! Surely if yo have got bank details for the transaction then this person can be traced? I'm gonna be positive for ya mate and say that you'll get ya cash back.. you may have to wait a wee while for the paper chase and police/bank interaction, but I reckon something will get sorted fella. Fingers crossed for ya. P.s. Nice choice of lens and had it been a legit sale it would have been the deal of the fecking centuary mate!! I can't afford a 2.8 canon glass but I could at that price!! Yeah... this is what I'm worried about. I've bought things over the net for years.... and unfortunalty getting scammed is a risk you take. I've tried everything I can to get in touch with him... I totally understand if circumstances have made posting hard. But I've given him every oppertunity to tell me this. And after ringing his phone twice he texts rather than rings. ---snip--- He just replied to my texts after ringing another couple of times to say its to do with a family incident (I wont got into details as its not my business).. I feel terrible for hassling him but don't know what else I shouldv'e done.. I've been scammed before..

Via Bank Transfer. He gave me his bank details. Went through in a day.

Hiya peeps... For the last 2 weeks almost (2 days short) I've been waiting for a kite I bought from Trdaewinds.. heres the thread http://community.flexifoil.com/showthread.php?t=112929&page=3 I paid immediatly and even added £10 to the agreed price for a swifter delivery. I heard nothing from him for 10 days. Wouldn't reply to PM's even though he was online, wouldn't answer phone or reply to voice mail or texts. I then ring on Wednesday, he doesn't answer but texts straight after to apologise and say there was a family problem that meant he had to drop everything and deal with it but he would post it that day (wednesday) so I would get by Thursday. I said no worries and thanks for letting me know and sorry to hear there was a problem. Again, there has been nothing in the post Yesterday or today. He won't answer his phone or reply to the voicemails I've left or texts. I'm fed up with it... I feel he's taking the ****. I've told him I'm not interested in the Kite anymore and he's to refund me immedaitly or I'll take advice on getting my money back and making a complaint. Am I being unreasonable? This is the last thing I want to do... I don't care how long the kite would've taken to arrive.. he should keen me informed though.. its only right that I know whats happening.. I'm very sorry he's having "issues"... but I honestly don;t know if I'm just being taken for a sucker...

Hi Si, I've texted you again. nothing arrived in todays posts. Again I could do with you confirming that its been posted. I'm not being funny and appreciate your having private issues to deal with but if I'e heard nothing by the end of today (being 5.30pm dude) from you maybe its best you just refund me in full via bank transfer (you have my details). This saves both of us the hassles this transaction seems to causing. Hope things are ok with you and the problems of late your going through. cheers

Yeah chap... I'm starting to think that too! Although he supplied a full name and gave me bank details (I paid via bank transfer) so I guess it all helps if I need to make a complaint.

Si. Please contact me by friday this week or post the kite so I get it by friday this week or refund the money I paid you in good faith by friday. The common factor here being FRIDAY!! Today is the 5th day your phone has diverted to voice mail and you've not replied to my voice messages. I've emailed the admin of this board (i think I did.. hope it was the admin I mailed!) and asked that they contact you via the email you supplied when you signed up as its not listed. Normally I wouldn't care after 11 days but you have done nothing to contact me even though you've logged in and must have got my Private Messages. You still have the oppertunity to sort this out before I take matters further and make an official complaint. Sorry dude.. I always like to think the best of people and hope this is just a misunderstanding on your part... but your not leaving me much choice!!

Arrr god damn it!! Anyone else bought stuff from this dude? Is he good for it? Won't reply to PM's although I know he's logged in and read them. Phone is on voice mail and hasn't replied to voice messages. In good faith and as a decent gesture I paid an extra £10 so to aid postage... I ain'f fussed if you've posted it late.. I would just like some confirmation your posting it!!!!! 8 days you've had my cash and you've not contacting me!!
