  2. My missus uses a Dakine speed seat harness which she's very happy with, all excepet the fact that the spreader bar keeps riding up until it's just below her happy sacs ( if you get my meaning ). We've tried fastening the lower strap over the top of the bar but with time it works it's way towards her body and we get the same result. She's never used a spreader bar pad - will this help with the problem or are they meant more for comfort? If not the pad then has anyone got any suggestions?
  3. I've decided to sell on my PL ST bug as it's been in the loft for ages waiting for the missus to use it but she doesn't seem interested so time to let it go to a new home. As the title says it's got a Trickbits backrest which makes all the difference to the comfort - stops the aching back and the feeling like you've done 1000 sit ups! The XR seat also help with the comfort, a lot better than the original ST one. There is a bit of a tear on the underside of the nylon coating of the seat where the webbing's stitched to it but this is just normal wear and tear. If anyone wants any pics of it I can sort them out. I've known a few people with PL's who've had problems with the front forks cracking so I got KrazyKarl to strengthen it with some extra welding (pics at the bottom) I chucked it together quite quick cos the light was fading so if anything looks a bit loose or rickety thats why! Looking for £100 for it. Would prefer pickup but would be willing to travel partway to deliver. I could find out about postage if the distance is too far but it's bound to be expensive and I'll have to add that onto the overall cost. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v326/Rob78/DSCF2220.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v326/Rob78/DSCF2222.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v326/Rob78/DSCF2223.jpg

    Rad ProII 4m

Up for grabs is my Rad ProII 4m. I've almost got myself a full set of Sammi's so the Radsail isn't gonna get used. Comes complete and ready to fly and is in excellent condition, no tears or repairs. I've upgraded the lines and handles to some Peter Lynn ones cos I wasn't keen on the Radsail ones. I've bought a stuff sack too which I think are a lot better than the rucksacks you get with them. I'll be at BLS this weekend if anyone who's interested in the kite is going, otherwise just drop me a PM if your interested. Looking for around £60 posted ono http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v326/Rob78/DSCF1993.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v326/Rob78/DSCF1966.jpg

dreadycraig - the wife says too much, lol! :D It was about £78 altogether, including postage so it wasn't cheap. Just been out for a quick 5 mins test fly and seems ok. Harness itself is really comfy (and yes I'm a bit on the larger side mikeymustard ). The only problem I'm finding is I'm stretching a little to grab hold of the handles (I've only got short arms) when I'm static flying but I reckon that'll sort itself out when I get in my bug.
