Personally I'd say what the heck let them get on with. This sport is unregulated and will probably end up sidelined in to one or two Skypark type areas/run by a Land yacht club (members only).
The prevailing attitude will continue until some one kills a member of the general public and then all hell will be let loose.
It's time the kiting community pulled it's collective head out of the sand and did something about it.
