  1. Yup I just keep my head down and try my best to avoid the flying sh*t!
  2. doc, it's just you! You do post some weired stuff!
  3. Hey mate, you may want to join us on a trip, looking at 21st Sept poss Morocco?
  4. Hmmm some very ummm dodgy photo's of the Pro X and Onyx boards by Brunotti! http://www.atfreeforum.com/bladekitesforum/viewtopic.php?t=111&mforum=bladekitesforum
  5. Tomorrow should be on for me........Jof, you seen the Skywalker T Wave?...NICE!
  6. Why not do them all by kite:eek:
  7. On a foreign kite trip a while ago I was using just shorts with waist harness and one pretty nasty kiteloop to bollox wipeout and seriously thought I'd split my sack! I couldnt stand up or walk even for a while! Maybe padded cycle shorts would work? or a simple pair of wetsuit shorts under your normal shorts! Hey thats my cat!
  8. Ha, just got out from well powered up session at Rest, got in at 6.30 and the wind was picking up all eve, eventually peaking around 27mph! ......and only 4 of us out!
  9. Will be up for a day on Friday hopefully, you up for it doc? hey doc here you saw our new boards, ...........impressed?
  10. B*gger, I really wanted to get up there too!
  11. I know I'm biased but.............Have a look at the Brunotti Pro X it's very similar to the Pro Toy i.e. with flip tips and single concave, those who have tried the new Brunotti have loved 'em. They get up and plain very early and still hold heaps of power when it's nukin! Oh and they're pretty tough too!
  12. We had enough wind for a late session yesterday, so got my fix!
  13. Uhh, the Skywalkers have of the smoothest rides that you can get! It's one of it's biggest selling points. Alos consider the Brunotti boards, the Onyx and Pro X. The Onyx will have a softer ride and has more rocker so may suit you better.
  14. Problem is we've had loads of wind and now we have nothing forcast for the weekend and I want to get wet! Yeh will order the wind and may even get down to Gennith also.
  15. There is no way I'd want to go back to white lines for all the reasons stated by Colin. The Blade Kites Vertigo and Beasts have coloured lines and it's just a quick simple visual thing checking the lines aren't twisted whilst laid out on the beach. Oh and the prices on the Blade's are complete's i.e Kite/Bag/Lines/Pump etc etc
  16. The 127cm Dimitri Pro is great in high winds, but I still prefer my Brunotti Pro X 128 as all round board. Waves, high wind, low wind, freestyle just a bit of everything!
  17. Was out there about a month or so ago and had a really top trip but as said above maybe not ideal for beginners etc More info at: A shorty or 3/2mm full suit will be fine, there are loads of nice bars etc all within easy waliking distance. The Shinn Centre can arrange awsome accomodation right on the beach for you too, just e.mail them. http://www.rushextremesports.co.uk/news.php?articleid=37
  18. Huh stuck in the shop and can see 5 guys out right now with super smooth conditions!
  19. Umm, he's in Maui testing them!
  20. Completly different board and at least 5 years age gap beteen them, they are both F.One and red though;) !
  21. This was up for sale ages ago by same guy. Had one of these for my 1st proper board many years ago, before that had an old surfboard. Bought one for the shop a few years ago purely as a museum piece:)
  22. Hi mate, shame we missed you on the last day. I wish I was back there now:(
  23. Just had an awsome week on the cheap in El Medano, can thoroughly reccomend it as a great windy spot especially if you like waves as the surf on the harbour wall can be epic. We had appox 4 days of 30knots plus (8m Blade Vertigo) and the rest was nice 12m weather with small waves. It's not the best place for a beginner (gusty on the beach) but for intermediate and better its well woth it. The locals were all real friendly too, each helping to land/launch kites when needed. The Shinn Centre is right on the beach too with all the latest kites to demo inc, Naish,Flexi,Airush,North,Best and Blade, and obviously they have the full range of Nobile boards available. http://www.theshinncentre.com/ You'll alsio get to meet one my hero's Mr Shinn himself, what a real nice guy, cant speak highly enough about him or the centre. Contact them for more info and they can arrange the appartments etc.
  24. Will need to know your weight/experience etc 1st
