    Secta buggy

Hello! i'm considering buying my first buggy (so i dont have to fight with BF over his anymore!) I was looking at Secta Fossil Kite Buggy which i'm really tempted by, its alot more expensive than i'd orginally budgeted for, but I think i'd rather have a decent buggy that will last a while, than a cheap one that'ull fall apart. I'm at ABC beginner level and am trying to aquire a flexifoil skytiger 26, and probably not up for tricks JUST yet Just wanted something sturdy for crusing around in. wondered if anyone had any advice for me on this, which you all probably do. Boyfreind has stuck a big fat "NO" on everything peter lynn! But was also looking at a libre V-max. I'm not a little slip of a thing, by any standards, so something that can take a few extra spare tires along for the ride Also quite short in height, about 5'2" so i have small stumpy legs, what would you dudes reccomend for me?
  3. "posted bu nesbitt_bub1 on his girlfriends login" none of the stanndard open cell foils handle gusts great.... Some are better than others, lower aspect kites tend to be the best as they don't have the thinned out profile on the wing tips, and generally in a luff there the bits that deflate first.... i like that blade 2's in the lulls, but the gusts make them scary. so you shouldn't get one of those! bullets are unpredictable in gusts, you CAN get lofted by them.... and when you do they drop you like a stone! Typically only a depower can truely handle gusts properly, because of the ability to let the bar out when the gusts hit, personally i use a venom 13M for gusty conditions, and i have designs on a 8M for the higher winds... If your not wanting a depower kite I'm afraid you'll just have to learn to get the most out of your kites in the gusts... take out a smaller kite and work it like a dog in the lower winds, and hold on for dear life when it gusts.... personally tho i can't think of a single foil that can handle gusts to a standard anywhere near the arc's.....
