I apologize if this thread got out of hand and if I upset anyone. No excuses just the old man syndrome.
I use one Libre Hardcore XS with 150 or 160 axle depending on the conditions
with a 3" drop down stem with adjustable fork rake device, cnc billet al rims and switch between a suspension fork and standard fork. I use 40lb of weight attachments for this buggy at times.
The second Hardcore XS has the 150 axle with 3" rail extensions, 9" drop down stem made from 3"x1 1/2" tubing, using the Libre front suspension fork, moonlight tires, extra cross brace on the rails, drop down plates at rear of the rails and both buggies use the camber and caster axle adjustment devices.
I use the extra small Hardcores because of the rails, as they are wide in the front and narrow down at the top of the sides where it gives me a snug but comfortable seat. I also drop the seat down until the back side strap is at the end and it is as low in the rails as it can go. I also like using a seat belt that makes jumping off stuff in the bigfoot a lot more fun.
I realize there are some great custom made buggies out there but for the price point and availability in the States I chose the Hardcore.
I fly Libre Vampir Race Pro 2.4 thru 6.6 meter and JoJo RM+ 2 thru 16 meter using power handles I developed.
I do enjoy Jon's BUGGYBAG products, wish I had some of those RC Guards.
At my age of 62, Eli, Bison, Big John and Luk still see me as a threat.
If Jason Furness is still around tell him his old Hi 100 I got from him when he was he at one of the world cups in the mid 90s, was passed down to a deserving buggier some time ago and I still see it from time to time. Hey Burgy and Gram come back and race with Big John and us again sometime as we sure enjoyed your company.
Best Regards
Jon Ellis
