  1. I like the cut of your Jib Sticky, you speak like a wise man/woman . All it would take is one nasty accident and we all could suffer from restrictions.
  2. Fine, we are all responsible for ourselves. Just hope you are insured my friend. Happy flying
  3. I wouldnt know, what do you look like? Its not about pointing fingers at anyone SonOfTheWinds, its about safety. Yes I am a dud
  4. Glad to hear here it. keep up the good work and have fun
  5. Thanx for the advice people, but I live in Luton, not London. I was only there for the day. What I'm worried about is someone getting hurt on the Heath.
  6. I haven’t been kiting for very long. In fact almost all of my experience has been at Dunstable Downs. Its a prime spot for getting some good lift and getting hurt. I have nearly broken my hand, been dragged along by my kite into the car park, and heard of other unfortunates who have broken bones, including one guy who went off the side of the hills and broke his back. Having said all this everyone seems to be quite responsible and non-kiting types seem to have the sense not the get too close or walk under the kites for fear of getting throttled. I took both my kites (3.5 & 5.5 Flexifoils) to Hampstead Heath last Saturday, and was astounded with what seems like an accident waiting to happen. Some came along with kites as bit as 9.5 meters and happily flew them even though there were children and mothers with prams less than ten meter away. Other park users happily walked under and in the paths of some of these big kites not knowing the danger they were putting themselves into. Am I just over reacting?
