  1. Well things plenty of views after my initial little moan. All I really want is somewhere I can fly my kite and ride my buggy. I don’t want to race etc. My point about the BBC is that if it costs £15 for insurance, fair enough, but it does call itself a club not Lloyds of London. Most clubs provide more than just insurance and if it costs a bit more to help keeps sites open I’d be happy to pay (a bit more). To be fair to my local shop, Airbossworld they have and are trying to find and keep site going. But I'd like to see more done by the British Buggy Club and kite companies. I certainly don’t know or understand everything that these organisations do but I do see more and more bans, with more on the way.
  2. Thats over £100k then they must be processing a few claims.
  3. And the BBC does what?
  4. I have been flying kites now for a number of years and had a buggy for a couple of years. I find it worrying and frustrating that the trend to ban kites everywhere is becoming the norm – its not even summer yet. When are kite manufactures and kite shops, which rely on us being able to use their products, going to start working with local authorities etc to identify place to fly and ride?
  5. Can anyone offer any advice on whether its worthwhile going to Skegness tomorrow to buggy (Sunday)? I have know idea what the tides are like or much idea about the wind - The BBC was not optimistic. I dont need a great deal of wind as i'm on a learning curve! Thanks
