Anyone else been watching this? Car crash TV or what?:eek: :eek: ;)

 

This week was about 'Major Trauma' and the different ways you can lose blood. I was coping quite well till they removed the dead bloke's femur!

 

..but one thing. They use a live model to illustrate simple first aid procedures. This week was a bleed from the wrist, last week was mouth to mouth. Does she really need to be nude to illustrate this?:confused:

not that im complaining, but it is odd.:o

 

But Gunther? he takes the biscuit. We're just lucky there isnt a war on, boy could that bloke inflict some pain!:cool:

Saw where they cut that blokes wrist and measured how much blood came out:confused:

Best bit in the series though is where he freezes a whole body and then puts it through an industrial band-saw:eek:

gunther is really amazing i always watch his docomentarys helps me learn for work it is really good for medical students .

i missed the tour of his plasticatison art were he has injected a liquid plastic into a body then shows you wot the insides look like you do need a strong stomach to watch it but it is very intresting
