But, to be going on with, and further to what you have already, I can personally recommend: Guitar Hero III (or II) The Orange Box Flat Out Ultimate Carnage Burnout Paradise Forza 2 The Darkness Bioshock Rockstar Table Tennis GRAW 1 and 2 Dead Rising Viva Pinata PGR3 or 4 Crackdown and not to my personal taste, but I recognise them as good games: Oblivion Mass Effect Look here: www.gamespot.com or www.gamesradar.com or www.ign.com for loads of info. And if you can get it with a guitar too, then you can play co-op with your girlfriend. It's also not as hard as III. Hard on III is like Expert on II. Quote

If you can find GH2 on its own then buy it, although in my local Blockbusters it's only £45 with a guitar so then you have two and can play proper co-op. Other good games would include the list Steve made. Buy a copy of the Official 360 mag and it has a section where it lists all the games they reckon are must-buys. In terms of their scoring, they're usually pretty much spot on as well Quote

Looks nice, but plays a bit poorly. Most of the games listed will be in the bargain bucket of Game or Gamestation or at least be available pre-owned cheaply. Quote

kinny Posted January 29, 2008 Report Posted January 29, 2008 I dunno Orange box is pretty damn good i though, and great value for £40 for 5 full games! half life 1 and ep 1 / ep 2 are amazing stand alone games but dont expect it to be like halo or COD , i found them a bit slower paced and more puzzle orientated. TF2 is good but i just haven't played it with COD4 taking up my time,and portal is only small but fantastic, hopefully a portal game will be made or at least impplemented into an fps somewhere. the recent games i have bought since new year - i have bought them to play online but for some reason (maybe COD4 i reckon) the online side of things for the smaller and older games seems to be dead!! Waited 25 minutes to get a online race on PGR4 the other night!! bought Lost planet and quake 4 for the online side and im yet to see anyone playing online!!! Forza,COD 4,Halo3, and Pro evo 2008 are the only games that seem to have a big enough user base! i feel MS dropped a bo77ock releasing so many good games in such a short space of time last year!!
