Rallying Passenger Rides

Does anyone know of anywhere, preferably down here in the sw, that does a high-speed passenger ride in a rally car?

Done a lot of googling and nearly all sites seem to be where you drive

I'm sure if you ring up one of the companies that do the drive yourself rides they will be able to help you.

i assume the places where you drive would do a ride aswell, you could all go down for a family day out!!!!!

 

you never know, they might do a ride for free for your daughter, if you had a drive?

Dont know if you are going to be around the Autosport Show, but from what I hear, Prodrive are building a new N14 Impreza used for Group N Rallying in half a day... from a bare shell. They will then dismantle it and then rebuild it the next day, and keep it for rallying use.

when i did a driving day at silverstone my mum payed for a high speed ride in a cossie. was vert funny to watch, i think he managed to go sideways round every single corner!

Look for a guy called 'rally matt' he's a reguar poster and a good chap. He drives these sorta things!

there is a rally school and kart track up dunkerswell might be a good place to start. also there used to be loads of night rallys around here, could probalby get in one of those if you asked nicly and stewared a bit. Otherwise take her for a blat at holdon woods as a kid that was fun...

Rang round several of the rally schools down this way and yep, they'll do passenger rides, but they're $hite old corsas or sumfin like that, as they're obviously driven by pupils most of the time and schools don't want expensive machinery going into ditches and trees:(

Castle Combe, does passenger rides in an Impreza, which is her dream car, plus might double up to give her a blast in a Ferrari.

Ok, its tarmac, not leafy stuff, but think the wheels will be more important to her (and colour:rolleyes: )

Better not tell her I work at a Subaru Dealership and getting an Apprenticeship with the world rally team then!

 

A track day in an Impreza is fantastic, and Castle Combe is a great circuit (But under threat from what I have heard. )

Before she goes getting her hopes up, she is old enough isn't she? Most motorsport events require passengers to be 16 years old.
