Atavar Posted September 17, 2007 Report Posted September 17, 2007 dont know what you lot are doing wrong my back is fine!!!!! Yeah but you are a phenomenon in yourself! You are not human, you are made of rubber I swear! You are the only man to land from gawd knows how high and still be able to walk once you had recovered. I'll have whatever you have for breakfast please! I second that, i saw the vid footage and remember the pic you posted of you with the cathiter bag. Quote
Ped Posted September 18, 2007 Report Posted September 18, 2007 just heard that rob hills has broken 4 vertebrae in his lower back, and so wont be buggy jumping much anymore :/ Och thats not good at all!!! Did he do it Buggy Jumping?? Bad Landing? Anyways get well soon Rob and hope the accident doesn't stop you from getting back in the buggy after your fully healed.. Ped:D Quote
Penguin_Kiter Posted September 18, 2007 Report Posted September 18, 2007 Word direct from Turbulence is Rob is out surfing today....he has been taking it easy latley because he hurt his ribs.......but he has not had any recent back injuries. He did damage his back years and years ago, but recovered and has been buggy jumping ever since! Get well soon Craige and Frakke, quick recovery........ Quote
Richy303 Posted September 18, 2007 Report Posted September 18, 2007 Perhaps reinforcing the rear axle isn't such a good idea? Let the buggy bend and suck up the impact rather than your back. Plus, like Craig says, leave out the back loops, unless you KNOW the kite will be on its way up BEFORE your impact, er , I mean land. Get well soon guys. Quote
Frakke1599968664 Posted September 19, 2007 Report Posted September 19, 2007 Since the other day My back has been really quite OK... I don't know what happened at SW freestyle to mess it up maybe that broken handle spill I had that Mikee so "kindly" posted Anyway since I managed to "click it back into place" whilst "stretching" it's been getting better every day.... maybe it wasn't a slipped disc as diagnosed but it fekkin' hurt for a while... On a week and a bit off (working in Sweden ) will be on the HO! ASAP Frakke Quote
Blader Posted September 19, 2007 Report Posted September 19, 2007 Perhaps reinforcing the rear axle isn't such a good idea? Let the buggy bend and suck up the impact rather than your back. sounds like what i said the day i bought my flexibug for jumping..:D and every time anyone has asked if i'm bracing it! Fly safe peeps! Quote

windjammer1599968715 Posted September 19, 2007 Report Posted September 19, 2007 how about an air bag system fixed under your seat that inflates with co2 cannisters if a bad landing is iminent, just need to design the mechanism to activate it Quote
