Hi,

I'm in Leith working nightshift on a boat, just wondering if anybody is going out in the area over the next day or two, gotta be done since i've got all my gear in the car and it beats sleeping. Wasn't sure if i was gonna have to go a wee bit along the coast or not coz of the wind direction, gullane isn't too far, cheers for any help, Kev.

There will be folk down at Gullane today and maybe tomorrow morning as well. I'll be heading down there this afo sometime. Im also in Leith.

 

Traffic out of Leith at rush hour is a bit of a nightmare cos of long term road works so if you can help it dont leave between 5 and 6. Its normally 30 mins to Gullane - but add a bit more cos of the road works.

 

If the wind swings round to the south-west, longniddry is also doable if the tide is out.

Just across the forth is Shell Bay / Largo Bay. There will probably be folk there today and folk will definitely be down for a sesh on Saturday.
