That is really great... one day when hes older he will really appreciate doing something like kiting with his dad.

(my dad never did anything with me... so its nice to see somebody else making a good job of being one).

Well done :)

9m and 6m i think

craig struggled with reaching the depower strap.. with letting the bar fully out and also getting a harness to fit.. the one a i bought him 3 years ago is just starting to fit him snug.. when done up as tight as it will go lol..

craig found that by sticking his bum right out he could just about reach the strap and let the bar all the way out.. this forced him to have an unsual flying style.. he can reach everything now has no issues and has adopted a normal stance now

i've taught kids on depowers and i've got a few tips...

if you tie a knot in the depower rope, do it on the chickenloop side, that way it shortens the rope, but doesnt stop him from depowering, just takes a little bit off the max power

tie a rope to the trip strap and at the other end have a loop around the depower rope (like you can with frenzies) BUT this only works if the trim strap is on a clamcleat, so you might have to change it

Another vid for you to watch

my older son age 10

The start of the vid he is flying 6m access II them moves on to the 10m

Thie is the first time he has flew a de-power kite

beware chasta:D:D:D:D:D lol

the wind was 15-20 mph which is alot of wind for these kites when you are 4 and half stone

enjoy
