mik23q Posted March 16, 2007 Report Posted March 16, 2007 Newbue question, but what does the cambered axle really add ? I guess it should help the buggy not to rip because forces are leaned one against the other o/ instead of o! where o is a wheel and / ! or the force towards the ground. But is it the reason or is therre some other factor that makes this axle special ? and pricey ? Mikael. Quote
buggymadchris Posted March 16, 2007 Author Report Posted March 16, 2007 The axle adds 30cm to the length and the width of the buggy. This several things Makes the buggy a lot more stable Allows you to hold down significantly more power Makes it easier to go upwind Gives more grip so it stops the buggy going sidewards as much as the standard axle. Quote from powerkiteshop This axle is the ultimate accessory for high-speed buggying. It introduces greatly increased stability, by bringing your centre of effort and centre of gravity forwards in relation to the wheelbase it vastly improves upwind performance. Now with the correctly designed camber setting allowing you to hold even more power and go quicker. Turns your buggy into a race performer with no extra weight or fittings. Quote
buggymadchris Posted March 16, 2007 Author Report Posted March 16, 2007 A bump for a great buggy and a fantastic deal Quote

buggymadchris Posted April 21, 2007 Author Report Posted April 21, 2007 Still available. It'll be sad to do it but i'll break up the package and sell it all off seperately if I don't sell it soon. Come on make me an offer. Quote
buggymadchris Posted April 22, 2007 Author Report Posted April 22, 2007 Can I ask why you are selling? To be honest i'm reluctant to sell. If I had the space i'd keep it but... I've recently brought a set of race kites and a Libre Hardcore buggy. (see avatar) I've also got a Predator Buggy and so the Flexifoil is now my 3rd buggy. I've only used it once since October so i'm selling because I don't use it. I love my Flexifoil buggy but would rather someone else used it rather than it sit in my garage. Quote
Dupski Posted April 23, 2007 Report Posted April 23, 2007 Tis a fantastic deal. Amazed no ones bitten your hand off! I would snap it up but can't justify spendin another £300 at the mo or the 250 mile round trip! have a free bump Quote
