spooky Posted January 12, 2007 Report Posted January 12, 2007 Generally rule of thumb I have found, is if you swap the $ sign for the £ sign, the number says the same, allowing for imports costs/VAT/Goverment scum etc. ie $70 will be £70? Yes exchange rate is good, almost 2:1 but that only applies if you buy from US, and again have to add VAT and import duty. Jon Quote
pierre Posted January 12, 2007 Report Posted January 12, 2007 Its look gorgeous, I want the red one! Quote

sonicseal Posted January 13, 2007 Report Posted January 13, 2007 The lightest hub Ground Industries has ever created by an amazing half pound per set, the Vegas introduces a whole new approach to high performance hub design. Its three piece construction promotes a truer more durable ride by targeting key material properties needed to maximize performance in different zones of the hubs assembly. For the first time ever the material properties of the core are dialed in to maximize impact resistance while not interfering with the necessary rigidity of the outer rim. To say it simply you get a more durable hub that rides truer at higher tire pressures and weighs a whole lot less. And that's not all, the Vegas also incorporates bite rite wheel security dimples that do just that, secure your wheel or tire from lateral slipage and potential de-rimming. Also compatable with the urethene Bazooka 120 street wheels. For mre information visit http://www.groundindustries.com De-rimming dimples Quote

Spike J Posted January 13, 2007 Author Report Posted January 13, 2007 Just found this on the ATBsports web site...... Heres some news directly from Matt Barker of the GI research team! "The center section is not metal. It is a proprietary composite polymer that we have developed especially for this application. Each hub (full hub with hardware and bearings) shaves a little over .10 lbs (45+ grams) from the current Crossairs for a total weight savings of almost .5 lbs (227 grams) per board! The retail cost in US dollars is $89.99 and they will be available in March." So yeah they look amazing and i know im getting a set. Quote
