minidrummer Posted December 31, 2006 Report Posted December 31, 2006 im just wondering who doeas them and if so how they do them im just trying to find different ways of doing them aprt from the way i know any hoo thanks Ash xx Quote
sym170 Posted December 31, 2006 Report Posted December 31, 2006 well i can't exactly do them, but, are you on about dangle passes? invert, then pass the bar once upside down. Tell us how you do them now, so that someone who can do them, can explain etc are you actually landing them on a board? props to you if you are Quote
Rossp Posted December 31, 2006 Report Posted December 31, 2006 I'm just looking to start doing these. I can already handle pass on ground but need to get the safety on my kite setup so i can start trying these areal passes cos atm i have leash less safety so i don't feel safe doing them unhooked. Ive done them on a floating bar but the way ill try them on a kite will be. to ride toe side unhooked then redirect and jump then at the top of the jump do a handle pass the 180 round to land as this has less forces on ur arms as the kite is not lifting u up its just cushioning ur landing so its easier to get the pass right. I need to wait for my leash and some decent weather before i can try this. as i sed this is just the theory of it as far as i can tell. Quote

lewiss Posted December 31, 2006 Report Posted December 31, 2006 i just jump and consentrait on pssing the handle at you'll get it, just be confident, and the invert will come in time. Quote
sym170 Posted December 31, 2006 Report Posted December 31, 2006 the invert is a lot different, you must hold your weight for a bit upside down with one hand. scoops, did you actually break your ankle trying flat 3s? Quote
lewiss Posted December 31, 2006 Report Posted December 31, 2006 nah, it was my wrist, and i was doing 360's downhill, but there practically the same thing, so i'm gunnu keep off them for a bit. Quote
sym170 Posted December 31, 2006 Report Posted December 31, 2006 learn to fall on your ass:D you get used to it eventually:D minidrummer, REPLY! what type of handle pass are you on about? Quote
