kite crazy Posted December 20, 2006 Report Posted December 20, 2006 Anyone know how to play thees things??? it has the number 1 - 10 on it, 1 being lowest and 10 being highest anyone know of any little songs????? Simon Quote
Sturmovik Posted December 20, 2006 Report Posted December 20, 2006 I can play 'dirty old town' by the pogues and do some nice blues rifts, you have to 'tongue' the notes (not easy). To bend a note keep lips in place and open mouth at the same time. Does that make sense? It sounds rude to me. Try at first going up and down the scale and practise practise practise. Quote
kite crazy Posted December 20, 2006 Author Report Posted December 20, 2006 im confused - got my harmonica with me but cant work it out... Quote

Simon Well the suck/blow thing should double the notes to 20. Does it have a button on the end to change key? (C to G )? I played Frere Jaque on it until a member of my family threatened to stick it in a part of my anatomy where the sun doesn't shine. Sand-Yeti Quote
kite crazy Posted December 20, 2006 Author Report Posted December 20, 2006 no - its just a cheapo harmonica - 2 reeds, 10 holes Quote
Sturmovik Posted December 20, 2006 Report Posted December 20, 2006 Oh try tooting, a short blast, a little rift start mid point inhale wilst sightly opening your mouth (bending the note) gets three short blast one note down, repeat, very effective if done right. I'll go get my collection, incidently I can get some wicked riffs out my little lads early learning centre harmonica eeeeeeeeeooooooooowww wow ow wow. Quote
