Lolage Posted November 19, 2006 Report Posted November 19, 2006 Im building a board just a bit confused on which trucks to go for. Id like somthing chunky looking but dont want it to be too heavy! Havnt got much to spend maybe £40 per truck..? Any help appriciated! Thanks, Ben. Quote
Bertie Posted November 19, 2006 Report Posted November 19, 2006 scrub skates? lightest trucks around AFAIK yet not extremely strong kheo skates? 12mm axles make them strong yet quite light. scrub alu channels? cheap yet quite strong. more adjustable than skates. heavier though Quote
kiter_ryan Posted November 19, 2006 Report Posted November 19, 2006 £40 per truck? + a tenner dude.. and grab yourselves some matrix lites, sweet as trucks Quote
Angoose Posted November 19, 2006 Report Posted November 19, 2006 don't go for the scrub channels as they ah ridiculously heavy i have scrub skates and they take sh/t load of heavy landings and havn't bent. ps i've been jumping for about a yr now and they havn't changed shape Quote

Chris Bainbridge Posted November 19, 2006 Report Posted November 19, 2006 I'd recomend skate trucks too, but if you change your mind and don't want skate trucks then the Scrub channel trucks are pretty good, they are bomb proof, good value for money and can be set up really nicely with the right combination of eggs and springs. For kiting there just about as good as Matrix trucks, as kiters don't tend to use the on the fly adjustment that much. Hope that helps. Quote
