Can anyone shed any light on this?

That ain't no bat!

That critter is one of them there, Ginger Goatee Frogs.

Latin Name - Pseudohirsuticus Hucknallius

 

They live and grow on the chin of a freckly, pale faced person, disguised as a trendy beard. They survive by mopping up scraps of food that spills from the host's gob.

Eventually, when fully matured they grow wings and fly off to mate with other like minded pseudo-stubbles.

 

They have a viscious bite when cornered or when they are called carrot-tops.:D :D

Found one of them alive in my lamp in the kitchen last week. Whats that all about?????
