I am currently with Onetel and am on an unlimited package but I am considering going with Talktalk but they have a 40GB monthly usage.

I am unsure how much I do use a month and will this 40GB be enough for me to use?

Is 40GB alot for usage?

Any computery type people please help.

Thanks :) .

But the Internet is normally on here from morning to night, And I download a little bit now and then but not all the time. Also my kids upstairs have wreless internet which runs off of mine downstairs.

Would this still be ideal?

yeh should be no probs.

40 gigs is massive, look at in comparison to your hard-drive, i mean u probs got bout 100 gig, so in 2 months u could nearly have downloaded the complete content of you computer!

there should be no probs with 40 gig at all,

think of it another way, at 1Mbps it would take almost 4 days of solid downloading to reach 40Gb. [even at 8Mbps it would still be over 11 hours] and that is solid downloading - which you will only do if you are are downloading large files constantly. and that assumes that the server can keep up with you :D

the 40GB limit is just a way for the ISP to allow unrestricted connection for any normal user, but it prevents people from totally abusing it.
