howie Posted June 14, 2008 Report Posted June 14, 2008 As the song goes working for your self is not all that it's cracked up to be. Have been paid out from my last employer and know have started working my Bobcat and tipper "Dig 'N Tip" thought that I would have a SH1t_hompson load of time to go bugging around but B-S have to chase work and have had things break Blah, Blah, Blah. But the upside of it all I'm my own boss now do what I want well sort of need to keep chasing the buck$$$$$. The barn is starting to look like a real work shop but as yet had no time to finish of my buggy build should be on the list some where soon. Also when I was made redundant managed to pick up the weather station that was used when we would tip 40 foot container trailers. Has all the good stuff on it wind speed, direction, rain fall, air pressure and all the bits in between. Still needs to be set up on the house one day. Any way still waiting for a nice day to get out and have a play in the buggy:rofl: Wind just does not seem to want to be my friend at the moment. Anyway I'm still around but with less time it would seem Cheer Howie CEO "Dig 'N Tip" Quote

howie Posted July 7, 2009 Author Report Posted July 7, 2009 Well Bugger me just thought I have a look at what has been going on as the speed week email had come into my mail box. and checked when I last posted and I tracked down this one it's been over 12 months. Things have flashed by so fast like speed week will. The buggy that I was working on has gathered that much dust it’s not funny. Have bought a new bobcat or should say the bank has. Had burst appendix (hospital surgery) sat on my ass for a couple of weeks.......Brooooooaring. No cash coming in bills mounting up standard things bugger. Looked at the kite the other day bag has dust on it Dan_ok came and grabbed his buggy back. "sorry about the dust on it buddy but thanks for the loan" So know that I'm healed up have started looking at the buggy project again but have a couple of others projects that the business needs done first. Would like to get the kite out again in the near future but need to MAKE the time. ANYWAY I'M STILL AROUND Hope to get out soon. Howie Quote
