Tyler Durden Posted February 8, 2006 Author Report Posted February 8, 2006 Notice the new steering adjusters in the tips: Tighter = More Power, tighter turns, more bar pressure. Looser = Better upwind, more Depower. These will be on the Venom 2 and this is definitely something that you could fit to the original Venom. Also the new trailing edge looks interesting :-) Quote
Psycho2 Posted February 8, 2006 Report Posted February 8, 2006 In new inflation holes of the front of the kite look like they will let the air in quicker if its not 100% inflated on lauch:rolleyes: trailing edge is interesting as you say i notice it oly on the outta skin too http://www.powerkiteshop.com/images/news/plvortexreview/vortexbagunopen.jpg http://www.powerkiteshop.com/images/news/plvortexreview/plvortexbag.jpg Quote
xenomorph Posted February 8, 2006 Report Posted February 8, 2006 Metal spars? And loads of compartments ... must weigh a ton! Paul. Quote
Psycho2 Posted February 8, 2006 Report Posted February 8, 2006 Thy are alloy so i dout they weight much more than they are now. shouldnt make a huge difference Quote
Tyler Durden Posted February 8, 2006 Author Report Posted February 8, 2006 Metal spars? And loads of compartments ... must weigh a ton! Paul. I think the spars are aluminium and therefore very light, and the kite has the same number of opening as the venom. The only addition weight could come from the additional steering adjusters, but I can't see them being a problem. Quote
