ZoMbooLio Posted October 16, 2005 Report Posted October 16, 2005 The line connecting the chicken loop to the lines has frayed as per photo below (the cable the bar runs on). Any ideas if this part alone can be replaced? http://redcar.powerkiters.co.uk/albums/ZoMbooLios-snaps/Picture_292.jpg Quote

ZoMbooLio Posted October 16, 2005 Author Report Posted October 16, 2005 I've PMd Bob, and asked Elaine and Jack in the shop earlier... still no idea what it is called though . I will be down next weekend, so hopefully Bob can get me one in for then, and then yes, thanks I will need a hand. Just need to raise the cash now! What is it caked in? No idea, but it smells like the insides of my knee pads and tastes just as bad ! (it was caked in whatever it was when I bought it 2nd hand) Quote
Bob Monkhouse Posted October 16, 2005 Report Posted October 16, 2005 Will order you one tomorrow bro. Knee problem. Quote
cstowell Posted October 17, 2005 Report Posted October 17, 2005 Funny that, my '04 frenzy's depower line got caked in that stuff too... must be something in the air at Redcar. Never worked out what it was though. Not mud, don't think it was sand, maybe the metal wearing off the bit where the depower line passes through the bar? Rinsing it off after each session seemed to help, but leaving it there all over the line got to increase the wear rate (all those little particles rubbing away at the line's fibres). Quote
adrenmike Posted October 17, 2005 Report Posted October 17, 2005 think it may have someting to do the lining of the sleeve, inside the hole on the bar (o4).plus dirt and other particles from the beach. remember mine started to go abit grey after a while. Quote
