The line connecting the chicken loop to the lines has frayed as per photo below (the cable the bar runs on). Any ideas if this part alone can be replaced?

I've PMd Bob, and asked Elaine and Jack in the shop earlier... still no idea what it is called though  . I will be down next weekend, so hopefully Bob can get me one in for then, and then yes, thanks I will need a hand. Just need to raise the cash now!

What is it caked in? No idea, but it smells like the insides of my knee pads and tastes just as bad ! (it was caked in whatever it was when I bought it 2nd hand)

Funny that, my '04 frenzy's depower line got caked in that stuff too... must be something in the air at Redcar. Never worked out what it was though. Not mud, don't think it was sand, maybe the metal wearing off the bit where the depower line passes through the bar?

Rinsing it off after each session seemed to help, but leaving it there all over the line got to increase the wear rate (all those little particles rubbing away at the line's fibres).
