Where to go kiting??? Advice wanted

Hello All,

 

Looking to pick ya brains, i have managed to wangle 2 weekend when i can leave the missis at home, go kiting and yet not need body armour or a huge amount of anadin........you may think im lying......oh no, shes on nights !!!! GET IN !!!!!!

 

SO.....what im looking for is 2 spots where i can go and camp and kite, i live on Brighton so nowhere nr here. Maybe Wales/Cornwall/devon i dunno really

 

Let me know where you think would be a good place, bearing in mind i am also a Newbie so not too many big waves please.

Seeing as you're a newbie and you dont want to go anywhere near Brighton I'd suggest South West Wales since the range of places to kitesurf is amazing plus it wont be as busy as Cornwall or Devon so chances of decapitating someone is significantly less

Had my first refresher session last wkend at brancaster - awesome fun - although it turn out that it is harder to kite in choppy waves than on the smooth mediterranean surface i learned on!

 

I have a free weekend on 13/14th - could even stretch it by 1 day if the wind is good....and happy to hook up.

 

I'm up for a return to brancaster, woolacoombe (not that crowded if you walk down the beach some, or sw wales.)... and could use some company! my kiting buddy lives in belgium which is not that useful!
