phil the brit Posted January 16, 2008 Report Posted January 16, 2008 whats the water temp like in adelaide in feb? do you need a summer suit or is it warming enough for boardies and rash vest? Quote
MilesMan Posted January 17, 2008 Report Posted January 17, 2008 You will be fine in feb but will need to start to don the wetsuit towards the end of march. Quote
phil the brit Posted January 17, 2008 Author Report Posted January 17, 2008 thanks milesman one less thing to pack Quote
Baggsy Posted January 17, 2008 Report Posted January 17, 2008 mate!! i was just at the Bilabong (QLD) shop yesterday arvo and was shown the new wetties to be released in february .Very nice indeed very water tight, very thin and reasonably priced too!! a bit of a trick to get in and out of because the zip has been reduced to about 20 cm long and there is an extra section that seals the zip and neck area.....also the stitching has been sealed so water cant sneak in around ya crotch Quote
sinbad Posted January 17, 2008 Report Posted January 17, 2008 If your coming over from the Uk the water in feb will be like having a bath. Quote
phil the brit Posted January 18, 2008 Author Report Posted January 18, 2008 like the sound of the warm water , not sure about the sharks though!! im sure its gota be warmer than here at the moment were kiting in 5m steamers ,gloves ,hoods and still only managing to stay out a hour or so b4 your fingers freeze Quote
G Money Posted January 22, 2008 Report Posted January 22, 2008 I would advise a 2mm spring suit or at least a short sleeve vest just to keep the wind chill down and give a bit of protection. Quote
