Thanks For Your Help Dude's Cant Afford To Make The Wrong Choice Quote
monkeyinshower Posted July 20, 2005 Report Posted July 20, 2005 Well I have the 2005 145 and love it. Really great board. I weigh about 85Kg and find that is a lovely early planer and holds a fair amount of power. However I would still class myself as a beginner so it suits me, perhaps as an intermediate you might get more out of the 135 as I believe it is narrower than the 145 as well. Quote
spooky Posted July 20, 2005 Report Posted July 20, 2005 142 Caution, nice palning surface, yet good edges and flex to hold down more power when you get better? I know it is not a Litewave (I used to ride those) but there is a big difference between teh 145 an dteh 136, as the 136 is also narrower, so will hold loads of power but may not get going as soon? WHow often do you ride, and what is your skill level? Only ask as IMHo unless you are out every weekend and going big with loads of tricks, get something that will get you up and riding 90/95% of the time, yet will still be able to deal with the edging/power needed for tricks/big airs when the conditions are right for your skills? outside those conditions, you will atleast be able to ride but will be more a case of just crusing in ligt winds as you have a largeish board or just holding on as powered up, but do not wish to try anything in case you mess up? But atleast you will be riding Quote
