black wind Posted September 24, 2004 Report Posted September 24, 2004 Is it just me or is the blade 3 F****** amazing? Was out today on my 6.6. getting nice floaty jumps and some good speed on my board. Would like to hear from other people with a 6.6 and anyone who has a similar sized, fixed power kite (of a different make) to see if im right that the flexi balde 3 is the best. Cheeres peeps Black Wind Quote
Steve1599968621 Posted September 24, 2004 Report Posted September 24, 2004 Just sold my 6.6 Blade, and was very sorry to see it go. Some of the best sessions I've had were with that kite - many say, and I tend to agree, that the 6.6 is the pick of the bunch. But I'm so fickle - my heart belongs to Phantoms now!!! Quote
Spook Posted September 24, 2004 Report Posted September 24, 2004 I do like my 6.6 but I'm afraid it doesn't hold a candle to my 8.5 Quote
whiz Posted September 24, 2004 Report Posted September 24, 2004 just swaped my 4 and 4.9....but will keep the 6.6 cos theres nothin to touch it for grunt & turn speed Quote
adamski Posted September 24, 2004 Report Posted September 24, 2004 I love Phantoms and will be mainly flying them. I have kept 2+3m Busters and a 6.6blade. AWESOME kite, if it has enough wind it can be a major giggle:D Quote
black wind Posted September 24, 2004 Author Report Posted September 24, 2004 Cheers guys its nice to know that im not the only 6.6 fan out there. The only thing that i dont like about it is when it stalls at the top of the window, then falls back into the power zone and i do a wicked impresion of superman. OUCH!! Quote
mgs Posted September 24, 2004 Report Posted September 24, 2004 If you think the 6.6 is good, have ago with the 8.5m.....Has to be the best in the range.Your be starting a thread on how good the 8.5m is next... Quote
black wind Posted September 24, 2004 Author Report Posted September 24, 2004 NO WAY DUDE, the 6.6 is enough at the moment, it still scares the c**p out of me at times!! P.S. why is it that when your jumping and a bit of skirt walks past you always end up landing like a sack of s**t and they find it, well you know!!!!? Quote
yowi Posted September 24, 2004 Report Posted September 24, 2004 I've got 9 and 7 mastairs on handles. The 7 has more poke in every respect than a 9m B2. Will have to put them head to head with the B3's sometime. Quote
Neil B Posted September 25, 2004 Report Posted September 25, 2004 Hey mate, The 6.6m BIII is one one of, if not the most amazing kite I have boarded with. It provides the user with POWER, BIG LIFT, confidence and the ability to pull off the most amazing stuff, however just when you think you fully know the score this baby will bite you! and then the fun starts all again! I think Flexifoil have produced a real beast and when you combine this with the new 04 AirDeck you are really havin FUN! Many Thanks to these guys because they really know the score at Flexifoil Cheers NeilB Quote
