andrewjohn Posted September 22, 2004 Report Posted September 22, 2004 Am looking to buy a backpack to store 3 kites (2.5, 4, and 7m2) handles, bar, helmet, pads, board spares, drink, kitchen sink etc. You get the idea. What do other people use. Thought an Ozone Frenzy bag would be good as they look a good size and designed for the job, but don't know where to get one without the kite. Quote
sprogg Posted September 22, 2004 Report Posted September 22, 2004 Ozone do a big packpack you can buy separately. Holds at least 8 kites, 200litre volume etc. Massive all you could need. It is also possible to get the Frenzy rucksack separately to the best of my knowledge. Quote
Kitedeck Kid Posted September 23, 2004 Report Posted September 23, 2004 Get a Scrub Board bag u can fit everything in them even a body:D Quote
Jabberwock Posted September 23, 2004 Report Posted September 23, 2004 MAC Para do a bag that takes OOODLES of kit. It Zips all the way down to the bottom - so you dont have to get all your gear out to get to the one thing you want. Its Here http://www.atmospherekites.com/en-gb/dept_12.html#item_63 Quote
Johndango Posted September 23, 2004 Report Posted September 23, 2004 I don't know if you can get them separately, but something like a bomba back pack would be ideal - you can store a load of kites in it and if you want more you can unzip the bottom of them. They come with board straps too. Now just need to find somewhere that sells cheap stuff sacks. Otherwise a cheap millets rucksack will do the job Quote
spiky_dave Posted September 23, 2004 Report Posted September 23, 2004 you can get the new arc backparks separately from anywhere that sells arcs (they probably need to order them in) but they are £40 Quote
Deshojo Posted September 23, 2004 Report Posted September 23, 2004 I have one of these gets all my gear in and kites. http://www.craghoppers.com/packs_and_poles/Dri-Pac_50_Litres.cfm Quote
gregh Posted September 23, 2004 Report Posted September 23, 2004 I have one of these, fits a 2.1m 4.5m, 6m, pads, harness and helmet http://www.wynnster.co.uk/Rucksackdetails.asp?iwdatabankdetails=341 think it cost around the £40-£50 mark Quote
dmb Posted September 23, 2004 Report Posted September 23, 2004 I picked up a bag in a luggage shop that takes 6 or so kites with all the bits, looks like a rucksack with padded straps, but also has a backframe, wheels and foldaway handle. I like the way that the wheels are exposed when the straps are hidden away and vice versa - it's either a rucksack or a wheelie-bag depending ! Cost me £13. Quote
