The Flyin Scotsman Posted September 17, 2004 Report Posted September 17, 2004 Also whats a transition 360 When you take off going one direction, turn 360degrees, then land moving towards the way you just came from. Making it a bit clearer, heres a quick 360 Transition. http://www.kiteatb.co.uk/kev/360transition.avi I think that explains it... (it was only a few posts ago remember...) To do a 360 you need to keep your hands above your head, or at least rotate around where the handles are to do that though you'll need to use the kite to let you 360 (which is really the only way to do em well). Nope you dont need a harness to ride toeside, it can be a bit of a pain trying to twist though. Kev Quote

Thats one hell of a novice! Can't 360 - or even 180 - but can fly my kite clean between someone elses lines Quote
mkratty Posted September 17, 2004 Report Posted September 17, 2004 i cannot 360 yet but i can grab most places on the board .im at the stage where i should be trying to throw in a back 360 but im gonna try with the wheels on the floor first . also im finding it a good idea to feel comfy doing some big ish jumps ,getting used to redirecting the kite just so i feel comfy in the air. im all for building up my confiedence first . learn the basics then the harder stuff is easier!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Trick Posted September 18, 2004 Report Posted September 18, 2004 ...getting alittle bored of blind at the moment, need some light wind days to get back into it...I guess the little white stick keeps getting in the way? Quote
